Trattoria Mezzaluna

One of the best places I had the pleasure to eat lately. It literally feels like a piece of Italy from all points of view. The music is Italian, the food is delicious and seems made by italians with their best ingredients, the attention to details from the waiters and the hospitality, it's a place you wanna definitely come back. Well done!

Wow!! This is by far the best Italian restaurant I have had dinner at in years. Even in Italy itself it might be hard to find a restaurant this good. The menu is fantastic, the staff is authentic and the atmosphere is really good. I will definitely be back soon.

Best service we ‘ve got on our trip. They had little time before reservations but decided to take us in.

Foods were amazing! All tastes on point. Desserts were superb! Tiramisu were put together next to our table.

Very tasty food, quick service, and a nice atmosphere. On weekends you should make a reservation. We liked the music that wasn't to loud and good for enjoying a meal with your friends or family. We will come again. Try the tiramisu, it is an experience!

Food and service were excellent. The outside seating was very enjoyable. Laurentiu and all of the staff were very friendly and accommodating. I strongly recommend that you include Mezzaluna in your dinner plans while in Bucharest. You will not be disappointed!

The place looks really cozy and friendly, the staff is warm and pleasant and professional. The food was reappy good and the fact that a lot of dishes are composed by the waiter in front of you is a really nice touch to the experience. Will be returning here for sure!

We were looking for a proper italian restaurant in Bucharest and we ended up with 2 places on our list.
After last night we're so happy we went for Mezzaluna as the experience was really one of a kind.
The place has a warm, cozy vibe to it.
We were welcomed by a great host.
Not only did he describe our dishes to the smallest detail but we had a small wine spill for which we felt horrible...he assured us things like that can happen and it helped with our overall mood, thanks laurențiu.
Now the food was absolutely amazing.
We went for a sharing starter: mixed bruschetta, black spaghetti with sea food, pizza mezzaluna (which was insanely good) and for dessert we went for tiramisu and lemon pie.
The pasta was super good and rich in sea food.
White pizza (mascarpone sauce + prosciutto, gorgonzola, mozzarella and rucola) was nicely made and it tasted amazing.
Now for the piece of resistance, the tiramisu: they essentially bring all ingredients next to you and make it next to your table (takes about a minute) which we found as a super nice experience.
Overall I would rate this place 5/5 on all aspects and will definitely come back once I'm back in Bucharest.

My recent experience at the restaurant was okay. The ambiance was nice, and the staff was friendly. The menu had a variety of options, and the food was tasty, it provided a decent meal in a casual setting. Overall, it's an okay choice for a simple dining experience, I would come back to try more plates.

I recently dined at this Italian restaurant for lunch and had an outstanding experience. The special lasagna with duck ragu was an absolute delight; the flavours were rich and savoury, making it a must-try. What impressed me even more were the great prices, offering incredible value for such high-quality food.

The atmosphere was legendary and created the perfect enjoyable meal. The staff, particularly Laurentiu, made the experience truly exceptional. Laurentiu was incredibly quick with both food preparation and service. He even went above and beyond by chasing after us when we were in a rush to return something we had left behind.

Absolutely amazing restaurant- so good we visited 2 nights! Gabriel and Alan perfect hosts. Amazing food great prices-so friendly. Uruguay steak 🥩 & tiramisu was to die for…thank you so much for 2 great nights x

After 5 trips to Romania from the U.S. I must say this is by far the best restaurant I have had the pleasure of eating at. Would recommend to all my friends and family. And the Lamb shank was so tender and juicy, I could have not asked for better. It was my wife's birthday and she picked a good place to eat. Also would recommend the tiramisu!

The nicest restaurant that we’ve been to during our Bucharest trip with a cozy atmosphere, Italian music and very friendly staff. But above all, the food was amazing and we had a choice of different vegetarian dishes - something rather rare around this place.
We highly recommend the restaurant for anybody who fancies an Italian night in Bucharest. And last but not least: The Tiramisu prepared on our table was well worth the visit! ☺

10 out of 5 :) Friendly staff, cozy atmosphere but the food is what stands out, everything was amazing! The squid is fresh and delicious, pasta has plenty of sea food and the tiramisu was by far one of the best I ever had!

The service and atmosphere was amazing! We ordered pizzas and pasta and the pizza was straight from the pizza oven and was still warm! Our server was extremely nice and funny, thank you Gabriel! We’re definitely coming back here again, I would highly recommend it for any Italian food and for the super atmosphere!! :)

Amazing food quality and service! All the dishes we tried so far have been above expectations! The perfect restaurant for a nice lunch or dinner with close ones!
