Manuc's Inn

Wow. What an amazing place. Such a beautiful setting amongst a building with such a rich history. The menu is extensive and I tried to go with traditional dishes and they did not disappoint. The beer was local, cold and tasty. Waiter was friendly and accommodating. Highly recommended a visit especially with live music and dancing later at night.

I wanted to try Romanian food and before going to holiday I made a research and end up on this restaurant. It’s really worth it and it doesn’t cost so much for the quality that you receive and the service that there is. First of all to enter the restaurant is like you entering in a castle, and already has his vibe. They gave us a table in the wine cellars and the ambience was so nice, with music and sometimes they were people from the restaurant dancing in their costumes. Food is AMAZING, I didn’t know that how much the food is good this country but really perfect and you’re already full half of a plate. About the service for the choice of the stars is because when we said our reservation they said that we needed to get in line with the other person and I said back that I don’t think is normal to wait, after the manager came in and she said that the table was ready and we could go down and another thing was because to take us our order were really slowly but to deliver the food super fast like literally we waited only 15/20 min

Amazing! We arrived an hour early and even though everything was fully booked, they somehow managed to get us a table close to the live show! Our waiter Parvan Paul was amazing! He took care of everything and even refilled our glasses whenever we ran out. The food was delicious as always and the dancers were soo fun to watch. Had a blast!
PS: If you ever want to order desserts, order only one since the portions are humongous!

Such a great experience! Our server Romeo was very kind and helpful, he assisted us very quickly and was extremely polite. The food was excellent and the atmosphere very romantic. Would definitely recommend this place to anyone visiting Bucharest

excellent traditional romainan restaurant, with great interior, and i bet it will be super beautiful in summertime in the courtyard. i had the bean soup with smoked portk. so good and minced pork in cabbage and planta on side. delicious. staff were super friendly and spoke good engish.

Everything is simply perfect about this place. Highly suggested.If you want to have typical Romanian food in Bucharest this is one of the best place.

Food is very present by attractive look and tast also great.Papanasi is my favorite at Hanu' lui Manuc.

We ate at winery.It is fabulous place to have a dinner.Stunning atmosphere.

The restaurant is huge, allowing for dozens and dozens of tables full of tourists. It's also very loud as there is music and traditional danse representations. We were a bit sceptical, but we ordered the traditional cabbage rolls, and we were delighted! I had eaten this kind of dish many times in my life, but those were the best ones! I also loved seeing the traditional romanian instruments being played in front of me. Overall, it was a very good night, probably close to what the merchants experienced at Manuc's times.

If you want to be in a traditional Romanian restaurant this is your spot! The food was delicious and on a good price. The staff was more than welcoming and there was live music as well!

The food was so good that I didn't get hungry for the whole afternoon, even with a not so big portion, it's also very healthy and fresh.

Not to forget how interesting the place looks, it's like an underground wine celar, very clean and nice atmosphere.

I left a tip in my payment and they didn't even check if we left enough, very respectful.

We were looking for a nice place for launch during the Christmas period. Many shops in the area open in the afternoon but this one also opens at noon. We sat at the basement which looks like an old cellar with a arced ceiling. It is well decorated and has a nice character. The food is overall nice. The kids would prefer the Schnitzel breading without the corn flakes through. The bean Soup in the bread is a traditional and nice dish that we always choose. Mici (like the internal of saucages) were also good. Decent choices of beer. Perfect service, but it wasn't a busy time. Rather expected prices. Overall a good place that is worth a visit.

Order might take a bit longer but the food serve super fast. Menu have no photo, a bit hard to imagine. We order, traditional pork with cabbage,grill eggplant(a bit small compared to price), bean soup with smoke pork. Worth to mentioned, when u make the payment, they will tell you that u must pay the service tips which is not include either 10,12% or above

Felt the real Bucarest. Mariana helped us with everything, and was really patient aswering my infinite questions about the city.

A must try place when you are in town in Bucharest! Authentic and historical location!

The atmosphere was amazing and so cosy, the staff were so friendly especially to Ivan Madalina who served us who was so lovely.

We had a lovely lunch and drinks here in the afternoon. The food was divine! One of the best campari spritz I had, sounds like a simple drink but most places in London can't simply make it right!

Romeo and his team delivered an excellent service.Food tasted delicious. Portions were big. And the door was served on time. The team was very prompt in clearance, professional , and speaks good English. .

Walk-in for 1. I had the Lamb Pastrami and two beers.

I was mostly served by the amazing Joshua- he spoke in flawless English and Romanian (but was originally from the Philippines).

I asked for personal recommendations, and for choices between options for my main course, and he was extremely helpful. I had the Lamb Pastrami. The lamb was very salty but I like saltier food. I was glad that the garlic sauce was kept separate, as it wasn’t to my taste. But it was a wholesome, inexpensive meal, in lovely surroundings.

I was told it gets extremely busy, so I am glad that I was there before the dinner rush.

I have been visiting Manuc's Inn for quite some year, yet everytime I feel like coming back.
The food was great, the service impeccable, the place is clean and the portions are always generous (really, I am not exaggerating!).
Our waiter, Romeo, was extremely helpful and had very good suggestions for food and drinks. He was very kind and always ready to help. All of his colleagues were actually very helpful.
We came here in a group of 5 adults and 2 children and even though everyone ordered from himself, we had enough to share between us as well.
We tried the lentil soup, marrow bone (excellently done), fish egg salad, schnitzel, trout, beef burger and a huge lamb shank - video attached to this review. To that we added mashed potatoes, all sorts of pickles, polenta and many drinks (Campari Tonic, Gin Tonic, tea - it was cold outside -, Romanian whiskey and a Romanian bitter.

Everything came out quickly and we had a very enjoyable afternoon.

We will definitely come back and we recommend this place for anyone who enjoys a nice, hefty, Romanian meal.
