Izvor Park

It's a great park, with a generous playground, 2 sport areas for basketball and lots of aleys to walk on. No matter the season, it's nature.

Rather small park, calm and relatively simple, with very nice trees, and some beautiful flower beds. Some parts with not much grass. The playground is great, suitable for kids of all ages, even saw teens (or tweens) having fun there, as well as toddlers.

Great place for a walk, some fun time for kids and parents. I'm told that the pond gets converted as an ice skating venue. Considering it's location, it's a real lung for the city to breathe.

very nice and big park, lots of places to stay, well maintained and clean. I recommend everyone to visit it.

Great park for chilling in hammocks. At this time of the year no musquitos yet, close to the subway

The Park is spacious and offers a beautiful view of the Parlament and the surrounding buildings in the center of Bucharest.

The park is so much nicer than in the past years, it's not a big one though, recommended for short strolls; the trees have grown and the park lost its communist scent which adds up to the pros from my pov. Besides that, it's near one of the main touristic objectives in Bucharest and it's downtown. Also full of dogs #doglovers

It's the best place to go if you want to relax and rest while you watch the geese playing in the water or if you have a bike you could ride some small offroad trails.

A large open space in the city center where parking a car is not a problem. Where in the world you have a similar situation? I wonder what the vision of the city planners was...Absolutely huge. Full of people, dogs, kids, bikes, you name it, it is here.

So many dog parks, paths, a giant play structure, rollerblades, etc.

Nice little park right next to the Parliament Palace (also known in Romanian as Palatul Parlamentului sau Casa Poporului) in Bucharest. The Parliament Palace is the second largest building in the world after the Pentagon. Very easy to reach as this park is right in the centre of the city. There is a metro/underground station (Izvor Station) at the parks entrance. There is also a fairly sized play area for the children here.

Clean and peaceful.A good place to run and make exercises.

A simple park that is great for a weekend walk with your family. There is a nice playground for children, themed just like the parliament next to it. So, if you want a simple and relaxing walk, the subway station “Izvor” is almost in the park itself. Go check it out. If you want more dynamism, I think IOR Park is better.

While between trains at Gara de Nord, we had a bit of time off and decided to roam close to the station to discover Bucharest. Turns out this park was some 20mn brisk walk away, and to my untrained eye it feels it's quite close to the famous Old Town. A nice park, some kids activities and otherwise a good view to the People's Palace.

Very nice park in central area near beautiful Parliament's Palace building
