The most efficient public institution! You can schedule online, then you go directly to the counter according to your reservation and you are done in about 10 minutes. I had to extend my driver's licence expiration time. The new licence was delivered to me in just 1 day. I'm am really impressed!

Very good experience. I had a reservation at 7:50 and exactly then I was called. In 5 min it was done.

Online appointments work very well. Sometimes you might need to plan things ahead of time, but as soon as you get there, everything is smooth and simple. The list of necessary documents is available online and most taxes can also be paid online. All in all, this is how all public services should work.

I had an overall good experience. Definitely worth to make an online appointment, it saves you a lot of time(you have to see how long is the offline line). I advise you to check the site and come prepared with all the papers you need. Also, take note that when you'll pick up the papers(in most cases, the next working days), you won't have the option to make an appointment, you'll have tot take an order ticket and wait for your turn, but the process it's pretty fast because the papers are ready and you have just to pick them(my waiting time was around 30 minutes with 30 persons in front of me).

Visited to renew my driver's license. I highly recommend you get an online appointment via their website, you'll save about one hour of standing in line. Online appointments are resolved at desk 3 on the first floor. Picking up new IDs is done at desk 15 on the same floor.

It's a good idea to arrive about 15 minutes early as there's a good chance the desk is currently empty. Make sure you have the photocopy of your ID when you get there, I don't believe there's a photocopier available in the building.

You can generally pick up the new ID in 2 hours. There was a queue that took about 10 minutes for picking up new ID, which was reasonable for that time of the day (2 PM). There's a chance that your ID might take more time to be ready (2:30 instead of 2:00), but they're generally pretty good at keeping to the schedule.

Friendly professional staff, although it was the first day after Orthodox Easter holidays. No ques any longer, ticket system in hallway works tine and gives you opportunity to be served by any of the open service counters, implementing a true first-come first-served mechanism, minimizing waiting time and optimizing use of all open, available, staffed counters, that can be opened or closed in relation to actual demand. Reservation of existing number plates is really cost-effective, for 30 lei reserving number of car that you have sold for one year, renewable for another year two times, saves you the cost of a new set of number plates (40 lei) and allows you to keep preferential, vanity plates like, numbers that you have already paid for @80 lei and could not be available any longer if you give them up without reservation.

Very fast, zero waiting, online registration available for all types of services. Driving permit is delivered by national post service (Posta Română) in 3 to 5 working days. Mine came in 48 hours.

If you want to get older faster, just wait in line during the working hours through the week. If you want to keep yourself well, just go early in the morning at the opening hours or near closing hours if you want to get things done quick at the desk.

Things are going more flexibly since there is the internet site which offers many functionalities (check registration status, schedule appointments etc), and also a lot of detailed info (including Q&A). So you can go for sure now and never be afraid there is a missing paper that you needed.

They are polite, fast and know their job. I had a whole situation turn south after them not really understanding how a Greek ID works which really was frustrating. I had my ID since the age of 12 and now look completely different but still valid. They did not accept me taking my driving exam, because of my beard and stated I have to shave. Pretty annoying but a funny story to tell. Apart from this if you do not want to lose a day of your life, make an online appointment. As a staff they do provide the best, most legal and correct service in Romania so far.

With making"programare" very fast and competent. Consultant help us to avoid more unnecessary paperwork and solve not usual problem on the spot.

Surprisingly quick. In and out in an hour without appointment, with 50 people ahead. Too bad technology isn't their strong point.

I was there today (mid December, midday) to exchange my expired driving licence. Ten minutes after i got my number I was already submitting documents at the counter and 2.5 hours later my new driving licence was ready. No hustle, no pain, everyone was helpful and in good disposition.

I would say there's an improvement - lately things are moving quite fast. For registrations it took me around one hour to get to #60. Few months ago it took around 115 minutes to get to #75. Note that you can come up even earlier than 8AM, in order to pick'up your line ticket then you will save more time.

First time in touch with this institution. In order to register my new imported car, I've waited around 15 minutes my number to be called and 10 minutes at the counter. That's reasonable.
As a recommendation: card payment to be installed.

An actual european experience - online reservations are actually well taken care of, prioritised. The people are nice and tey to work even with those that show up without a reservation (as compared to denying them access all together).
