Very nice zoo we went when it was full of snow, but still it was worth visit although some animals were inside because of the snow

A popular spot in Bucharest. Many animals, organized interior. Not expensive, about 15 RON is the full ticket. About 3 euros.
Difficult to park the car in the neighborhood. The best way to come is ride sharing, taxi ir the bus 301.
You have a good opportunity to eat in the area.
For Bucharest city break is a must.

Very nice zoo park with a lot of animals to go about and see. Nicely set up interior spaces and outside zones.

The zoo is nice and even if it is crowded, you will be able to complete the tour very easy. I liked very much that they have arrows and if you follow them you will see all the animals. This was something that I missed in other Zoo.
The only negative part was that some animals had only small areas than I soo in other places.
But I bet that children will love this place.

However, there is one aspect that could use some improvement. The markings on the asphalt passages inside the zoo were quite faded and difficult to follow. This made navigating the premises a bit challenging, as I had to focus extra attention to ensure I didn't miss any animals. It would be helpful if the zoo administration could address this issue by re-marking the paths, making it easier for visitors to explore the entire zoo without any confusion.

Despite this minor setback, the Bucharest Zoo still provides an enchanting experience for visitors of all ages. The enclosures are well-maintained and offer adequate space for the animals, ensuring their comfort and well-being. The zoo's commitment to conservation and education is commendable, and they often organize informative programs and interactive exhibits for visitors to learn more about the different species and their habitats.

I grew up visiting this zoo and as a kid I loved it. I'm very happy to see that they have made improvements. The enclosures are clean and even though a bit on the small side the animals look well taken care of. There is a variety of different animals to see and its a great experience for the little ones. Wonderful place for a stroll with the kids.

A beautiful place to go for a walk in the nature. This Zoo is old, like 60 years old, and it is so nice with a lot of animals, from all over the world. They have also 3 building where you can go inside and see Birds, Reptiles and Monkeys.
A very nice place to go with your kids or just with your partner.
Also they make like a path to follow to keep all the people organized and to make sure you see everything. You have also a lot of maps where you can guide.
Price are very accessible, like 3$ for and adult and 1$ for kids.

Very good place to relax and admire all of the beautiful creatures of this planet. The big felines were a great sight, especially the tigers and the lions. There were plenty of reptiles and birds too, although most of them were probably sleeping or shying away from the visitors.

Great value for money, less than £3 to get in! Plenty of animals on view including 6 Tigers. Some of the cleanest conditions I've seen at a Zoo. An impressive collection of Birds as well

The place is clean, the animals are being fed on time, and there are additional
playgrounds for the children to play. Ticket service was super fast. You can rely on free parking. There was also a restaurant nearby. Other than that, the variety of animals is big although I believe some of them don’t feel at home simply because they have been born to live in a different environment.

The lady at the entrance knew English. The zoo is small but looks cozy and well maintained. There are a lot of trees so there is good shadow. Most animals were visible and looked in good condition.

Really clean, and the animals seems healthy. Will come visit every month with my family from now on, to support the amazing job they are doing. Would be nice to have a place within the zoo where to buy a snack and something to drink. And a souvenir shop! Might not be as big and fancy as other zoos around the world I have visited, but is so well kept- absolutely amazing job done by the team from Bucharest Zoo! Still, please think about at least a souvenirs shop! That would be perfect for animal lovers, and a great way to add up to tour revenue

Great landscape during the fall season, and the tickets are available all day long, you can go out and eat and came back.

A nice park a little bit outside of Bucharest. The adult ticket was 13 lei, student ticket was 6.5 lei. You can buy it on a machine or at the cashier.

The park looked well maintained, clean, and there were many bins, chairs and drinking fountains. Beside outside animal cages, one can enter in a few "theme halls"(parrots, reptiles for example).

There were a few machines with normal priced snacks and drinks inside the zoo. If you want a proper meal, you can choose one of the few restaurants in front of the zoo.

Very nice, we went on the 24th of December so I think it was a bit cold for the animals and most of then were in their enclosures away. But good variety nice day trip.

Although summer is the best time to visit, in winter the garden is also open and you can enjoy rare species of mammals and amphibians.

The employees are very nice and kind, the place is clean and the animals have decent amount of space. A gift shop would be a nice addition and a new area is about to open with primates. Perfect place to kids and family.

Nice experience for the kids, nice place to spent a Sunday walk around. I was surprised to see how clean it was inside the animals, birds cages, well maintained. But.. This was the second time the lion did not show up a bit.. :))

Really nice place to go with the children. It is in a forest. It has a good variety of tigers.
There are terraces/ restaurants around.
Parking place might be a problem on a crowded day (weekend)
