Székelykő Mansion

I start with a fact which is the biggest advantage and disadvantage at the same time. This place has no competition, there is no other pension and restaurant around at this level. It can be unbelievably crowded from time to time, I've seen people waiting outside for hours just to get a table.
The entire interior is made from quality made, traditional materials and in a traditional style. The rooms are cozy, with painted furniture and traditional fabrics.
The food is ok, there is a good selection and the quality is also ok and tasty. I highly appreciated the traditional dishes, like the bird-milk (childhood memories), a very good home-made bread, elderberry juice, and the local cheeses. These made the food experience very good, I won't say outstanding though.
Location: calm, peace, quiet, green, and the direct view to the Székelykő (Piatra Secuiului).

Went here last week! The food is absolutely delicios and the waiters are attentive with the guests and guide you to choose the best.If you are somewhere near to this place please make yourself a favor and eat at Conacul secuiesc! The atmosphere , the menu, the tasty food is all perfect! And if you like dairy products ask for additional sour cream with homemade bread!!!! It is heaven and it is being produced in the area!!!!!

The mansion is located in a beautiful place with incredibil view of the mountains surrounding the area. The staff is very professional and polite. We had the New Years package and a great time together with family friends. We’ve also enjoyed the presence of Picky (or so i believe is his name), this big dog hanging out around the mansion. The kids had a lot of fun playing and petting him. All in all, we had the best time and all the hours spent in traffic ti get there and back were worth it.

Great place to visit, eat, take photos (including wedding photos) and spend the night. Staff is welcoming and tries to accommodate every wish one has. We were blown by the rustic atmosphere of the place, yet everything was clean.

Did not spent the night there, just for a highschool reunion, but definitely loved the place, the food was very good and the desserts also. The view it's breath taking and the fresh air is unbeatable

This mansion/ restaurant is just a great place with a phenomenal view.
Located away from intense traffic, it has plenty of parking places and a nice garden where you can have dinner.
The restaurant staff are highly professional and well mannered. The food was excellent, with a bit of waiting time, although the place was full.

We booked an 11 seated table, visited the place by motorcycle, that was a nice one day trip with great food at a very nice place.
I highly recommend this place.

I only had lunch, so i could not rate the rooms. But the view is amazing and the food very authentic. Don’t leave Transylvania without seeing this place. Hiking should also be a good way to spend the calories ingested, and they’ve got the biggest backyard in all Romania, I think. From lunch to the top of “Piatra Secuiului” is absolutely doable in one hour. Try it out!

Now if you are looking for a real taste of Hungarian food and life style, this is the place to visit. I'm going there since the place was opened and I can vouch that everything is same as it was when they opened. Great tasty food, awesome location, incredible people, hospitality at its best.

Everything is just on spot. The location is breathtaking, the rooms are great and the warm of the service makes you feel very welcomed. The prices for food and drinks are fair and you get tasty food and good drinks.
Totally recommend it!

Nice place, surroundings and mostly hungarian style food. Yummy!
Also desserts (phantastic floating islands) and coffee.
Clean bathroom.
Reserve table in advance (especially on weekends).
Only negative point was that our waitress only spoke Romanian, which made communication difficult, but she was trying and was very, very nice.
Absolutely recommended!

Cozy accommodation near the picturesque Székelykő Mountain / Piatra Secuiului. The main attraction is the restaurant, with a lovely terrace settled in a spectacular scenery dominated by the mountain. The entire garden worth exploring, as it features a pond with fish and water lilies, benches, beautiful flowers and trees.
There's also a beach area for the guests, with four tanks with fresh and salty water, at different temperatures. Of course, the iconic Székelykő Mountain is visible from pools.
The rooms are furbished in a traditional / rustic style, with colorful flowers and birds hand painted on the furniture. The bathroom, with shower cabin, was well equipped and spotless clean. AC was working properly (visited the place in July).
Large parking with one charging point for electric vehicles.
Took one dinner here. Ordered grilled trout, which was fresh and delicious. It was indeed grilled on wood fire: not many spices, just to feel the flavor of trout and wood charcoal. We matched the trout with the best wine I have tried this year so far: Ana, a Sauvignon Blanc by Jidvei.

Such an amazing place in a breathtaking location. Can't find a fault, even if I tried.

We had an amazing gulaș and beef stew. Absolutely delicious. The desserts were also incredibly tasty. The service, impeccable, as well as the ambiance. Congratulations on everything you're doing! Absolutely great experience.

My good friend Nicolas Cage recommended that we stay at this Hotel whilst we are touring in Transylvania. The Hotel, the Food and the Service were all first class. We enjoyed the food immensely, and the Service was impeccable. The location is of course fantastic, surrounded with beautiful scenery. This area requires more time than we could allow, and this Hotel will make the perfect base to explore the surrounding area when we return.

We went for the restaurant but the view, the location and the grounds are breath taking. Very polite and welcoming personnel makes you feel like royalty. Spa, food, drinks even the tower observatory on the top complete an excellent experience for all ages and expectation.

The food here was amazing. The portions were very generous and everything tasted wonderful. We had the beef and potato soup, the cheese board, and I had the bean and sausage stew. I could finish everything because there was so much. Our waitress was very kind and attentive.

Great service and lovely atmosphere. I had a delicious traditional Hungarian dessert and a cappuccino, but rest assured, there's a wide array of exquisite local specialties that will delight your taste😋

The food and service is good, also the view is unique.
