Luisa's Place

We walked here from town and it was worth the walk. The food was good and fresh. They have a view through the kitchen, which was clean and modern. We had pizza but the salads looked spectacular.
The owner was super friendly and welcoming. We definitely recommend trying this place. It is popular, even in the off season, so a reservation is recommended.

We visited Luisa’s for the first time last week, despite being long term visitors to Carvoeiro. We booked again because we really enjoyed the food and relaxed vibe. Their dishes are cooked to order with fresh ingredients and are simply excellent. Their pizza base starters are really tasty. The pasta dishes are the best in Carvoeiro by some distance. 🙌🙌🙌

We've been to Luisa's Place for the first time this evening. What a great place with friendly and attentive waiters and a nice terrace ! We took salads that were really nice, well furnished and seasoned and the tiramisu was perfect ! We will be back very soon :)

My wife and I had the best meal ever here. The staff are amazingly friendly, very accomodating, we laughed and had such a good time. The food was amazing, we did have to wait a while as the place is so popular but as we were having such a good time it didn't matter. The owner is very very talented and should win awards for his hosting. We would definitely recommend anyone to go here

What a fantastic restaurant!! Truly the best restaurant in Sesmarias. Had a nice family dinner with loads of different plates. The crew is superb friendly and knows how to please their customers. Will go back there soon!!

Amazing pizzas and bruschetta. We didn't book and so we had to wait quite a while but it was worth it. Best Gnocchi for a long time too. Even the green salad tasted amazing. No wonder it's busy!

Great food at good prices. Harry is first class in the way he runs the restaurant. Never had a bad experience there, throughly recommend.

We happened to go there because we went to the supermarket next to it and what can I say: Great food, great service, good music! Awesome suprise!!!
The pizza was on the same level like my favorite Italian restaurant at home (Munich) and I am very picky about my pizza :-)
We will definitely go there again before we continue our trip!

PS.: Went there again and had pasta and salad. guess what: Great again, so fresh and perfectly seasoned. This is really a fantastic restaurant. Go there and have a good time.

Do your self a favour and eat here. Delicious food and great service :) Harry is a star, he will look after you.

What can I say apart from Amazing, perfect and the owner is alright as well. We had 2 superb meals here and I could not fault anything. The owner Harry is just fantastic, not matter how busy it got everyone was personal greeted by him and I never felt I was just another face at a table. The food portions are generous and the food itself is beautifully presented and tastes just as good if not better than it looks. When back in the area Luisa’s will be my first stop.

I have been visiting Luisa's place for around 20 years so have seen all its changes over the years. We were friends with Vasco and his dad whilst they ran it and have had the pleasure of dining there with Harry at the helm many times too. The food is excellent, he has made many positive changes to the seating area and restaurant, and he is constantly ridiculously busy so do book in advance! Be prepared to have a relaxed and not rushed evening if it is busy and be sure to have a chat with Harry and the guys waiting on, they're friendly and knowledgeable. Enjoy!

We dined here twice in 7 nights. First night was late - our flight landed later than expected. Harry and his team accommodated a late walk-in without any drama, shuffling a few tables around to suit. All of the staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, and very good with entertaining our 3 year old. The food was excellent and it could not be faulted. We soon found out that the expertise behind the food was Harry’s wife - you could tell the food was prepared with care, attention and to a very high standard, just by glancing into the kitchen a few times.
All of the aforementioned made us want to eat there again during our stay - so we booked to eat there on our final night. Everything was perfect once again. Thank you Harry & Team. If you are visiting with young children, ask Harry to point out the “Nightbird” - believing children will love it!

Friendliest reception. Great atmosphere. Attentive service. A wonderful selection of pasta, pizza’s, meat and fish dishes. Their beef is superb. Reasonably priced. Always fully booked. Better make a reservation.

Great food and brilliant owners! Harry as front of house is a laugh a minute! Due to popularity and lack of staff in the area, service can be slow but the food is worth the wait and very reasonably priced. I'll be back later in the year for sure :)

Harry is the best. It is the heart of this amazing place. Not only a funny guy but also able to manage 4-5 language. Pretty smart to put a transparent glass between you and the kitchen so you can look how your meal is done. It is the same way as in some michelin star's restaurants.
We will come back.

One thing that needs to be remembered by anyone is to phone in advance and book the table😉

Excellent restaurant. Food was great. Can get busy so service was slow (and they had a person down) but the food made up for it.

For anyone lucky enough to be in this fantastic part of the world Luisas is a must visit restaurant. Service food unbelievable, thank you Harry we will be back
