Monte Santo Resort

We went with our teenage kid and 5 yes old and had a fabulous experience! The town house was spacious and clean. The property is well kept and the best part was the pool and spa area including the indoor pool. The staff was very attentive and kind and we definitely want to visit again next year!

I stayed in a two-bedroom villa for 3 nights during the winter. The Villa was AMAZING! having a full kitchen and washer/dryer in the house was so convenient with the kids. The resort has a bunch of outdoor pools, which would be great during the summer, and it also has an indoor pool. The kids loved being able to swim even though it was cold and rainy. With where our accommodation was located, we didn't have much interaction with the staff, but the few times we did, they were all nice and professional. We will be back for sure! They also had a kids club that we didn't use, but they seemed to have a fair amount of activities for kids even during the off-season. The resort also has a small playground on site.

Stayed in a 3 bedroom villa with friends and family. The staff who helped us check in were friendly and gave us good directions. The swimming pools were nice and easily accessible. There is also a Turkish bath, jacuzzi, sauna, gym and playgrounds. Great for kids and adults alike.

Our second stay at Monte Santo and we will return. Superb resort on the outskirts of Carvoeiro just a 10 to 15 mins walk to the beach. Apartments very well equipped, extremely comfortable and the facilities excellent - especially the indoor pool and Spa.

Great houses and apartments. Very nice pools and hot areas of Jacuzzis/Sauna. A little bit bad treated by some guests (I guess, because of: trash around; Jacuzzis dirty-note to admin: clean more often; sauna door handle broken-fast solved...). Very discreet staff (not even notice them going to house, but they went and did the magic-5☆ to housekeeping staff). There was dishwasher(!) and detergent for the machine without the need to claim for it (some kitchen equipment-pans/frying pan could be better but comprehensive for many people use). Enough trash bags, toilet paper, shampoo, gel... all good (our balcony door was not closing and as I understood we're responsible for any theft! Although is Portugal, meaning very safe). Very comfy house with AC, TVs, sound system in all rooms (including WC). The towels are an issue: transporting them from/to the reception is very inconvenient, especially for a 5*. I understand some might take them and don't mind of the warning and pending money, but why carry them especially in the winter while wet(?). Nice robes though.

A special thanks note for the admin which pleased the guest with fireworks and music in the new year's eve! Enough and not through the night, well done!

In sum: Great houses and pools with a fantastic staff. Very nice and pleasant stay. Not the perfect location, but close to many beautiful beaches, golf, shopping, sea side trails, day/night life. Perfect for families with children.

Great resort! Went out of season but my toddler loved it!!

Everything about the service was impeccable! Would not fault it one bit! From the front of house to staff in restaurant day and night to the in room cleaners!

One thing I would say is that the rooms are a bit dated in a way where when they first opened it must of been amazing but now seems like needs a bit renovation/fixing things instead of sealing.

Area needs a car we tried to walk but with our toddler and buggy the roads/pavement was square stones so like pebble but if you are adult it's easy to walk down to the pier. Baring in mind things arnt open out of season but that's okay because my daughter got to experience it without the crowd!

Would defo stay here again tho! Great amenities inside hotel! Quality appliances!

Can’t recommend enough. Stayed for a long weekend. The villa was fantastic! The spa was amazing, had a couples massage and it was the best. The saunas and indoor pool were lovely and relaxing. So many pools on site! Easy access to the villas can get a taxi to drive you to your door. They provided free cake and a bottle of champagne for my birthday which was such a lovely surprise! The restaurant on site is to die for! The food was delicious 10/10. Great romantic get away.

Lovely stay at Monte Santo resort. The suite was very spacious and well appointed, with everything we needed and more. The hotel facilities were so very good with a great little gym and pool. I also had the probably the best massage in the spa that I’ve ever had! Highly recommended.

Everything was amazing. The pools, the restaurant had delicious food. The breakfast buffet had plentiful options and it was so good!

Our kiddo loved the playground and saying hi to all the staff members.

The apartments were spacious, clean and had all amenities needed. Kitchen stocked well. Got to wash and dry our clothes!

We had a few ants come in from the heat and they swiftly took care of it! Appreciate the service.

The Alma Spa was a treat! Had a LOVELY massage by the woman. One of the best I’ve ever had. Anti stress massage is a must.

We have rented a town house style Apartament with two floors two bedrooms three bathrooms, fully equipped kitchen, living room. The house is amaizing. Large bright clean. The resort is fantastic with amaizing breakfast

Wonderful resort, I will definitely be back. A 15 minute walk to the main area in Carvieora. Rooms are large and impeccably clean. Staff are helpful and friendly. Pool is beautiful, large and not overly busy. Breakfast has everything you could want.

What an incredible place, nestled in the beautiful suburbs of Albufeira, but close to the town (taxi €5) or rent a car for under €100/wk! We have a huge luxury apartment overlooking the poolside with a sea view, b/fast inc. November rates are outstanding with easyJet holidays :)

Staff is very friendly and location is relatively close to beach areas. Resort looks good and has good amenities.

Very nice resort. There are family villas: two full bathrooms and extra toilet downstairs. It makes the stay very relaxed. Also washing machine with dryer option in the villa. Big swimming pool , extra smaller , more private pool near the villa.
It was my husband’s birthday and they have surprised us with a big bottle of champagne and a cake. Very friendly and attent stuff.

Also important is to mention that there is indoor pool with heated water, two saunas and jacuzzi. All in one area (very convenient when staying with kids).

Perfect place for a family holiday!! The location is calm and relaxing. It was super clean. The staff was so kind and warmhearted that we really miss them when we left the hotel. Special thanks to Homraj, Pedro, Barbara and others that I could not catch their name.

We LOVED our time here as a family. So much fun! We did pizza making, an escape game on resort, swam for hours in the pool and made it to nearby Lagos for a sailboat ride. This location is magical and this resort is set up perfectly for families. You can eat in or enjoy the restaurant. There is also a sports court, kids club, playground and more. Don’t miss the pool foam party if one is happening during your stay!

It is a resort with very good areas.
A big swimming pool, a near pond where you can see with the kids, frogs, fishes and turtles.
There are activities for kids and grownups.
It has a kids club with park and a tennis court.

Also with interior swimming pool, jacuzzi, sauna and gym already included, which is a very good extra.

It's a really nice hotel, with good sized outdoor pool with ample seating, and a large indoor pool with a crampt spa area.

The gym is small but good, although more space would be better.

The girl teaching dance is enthusiastic and a really good asset to the company.

The eating and bar area is good, with an excellent breakfast and the buffet range in the evening was divine.

The room itself, the luxury suite, is large, modern, equipped with a full kitchen, huge bed and two bathrooms.

Free parking, easy walk to local eateries, and five mins drive from supermarkets.

We stayed at Monte Santo Resort for 3 days during Autumn break vacations,that is first week of October.Their rooms are clean and they have an indoor and outdoor pool as well.Best is book breakfast along with room booking because its better to have breakfast here and then travel the whole day.They have an in- door restaurant also so you can eat lunch and dinner on one of the days when you would like to relax at the resort.It is an ideal location to travel around Lagos and visit other places in Algarve.The staff understands English language.Comfortable stay so would definitely recommend.🤗
