Porto Lovers Bazar, The Fair Price shop!

Masagem, the shop owner was the kindest person we met during our trip in Portugal. You will miss his small shop while walking by, but please stop by and support his small business.

He opened his small store in hopes to bring his family from India to Portugal. He’s worked long hours to get to where he’s at now and is incredibly proud to be a shop owner. His eyes watered as he explained not being able to see his daughter and family for awhile. I understand this full-heartedly as many foreigners work hard elsewhere to support family back home.

Please support his dreams by purchasing water, medicine, snacks, or a souvenir. Meeting this person will give you insight on wonderful humans from all over the world that end up in beautiful places. He enriches Porto with his presence and I hope one day his family can come to Portugal to enrich it even more.

We were our looking for milk when this lovely shop owner welcomed us into his shop and he had lots of wide variety of things to choose from. We were only out looking for milk but also bought some of the souvenirs as they were very good quality and price.

The shop was near to the hotel where we stayed, during 4 days we were in contact with the owner, a very nice, welcoming and helpful person. He answered all our queries about the neighbourhood and the city. The shop is quite big with lot of choices : souvenirs, gifts… many choices with good quality and fair prices, we took all our Porto souvenirs from the shop.
Thanks again for being helpful to us and especially kind to our baby.

This shop has some unique souvenir items (loved the bags, Tshirts, and other small items) and the people are super friendly. We enjoyed getting to know them and hearing about Porto when we visited several times over a few weeks!

The owner is a very kind man. My luggage was delayed and I ended up buying 2 dresses (imported from India). If you’re nearby, you can get toiletries, souvenirs, snacks or clothes.
