ALDI Picoas

Very nice supermarket with good offers and large selection

Good selection, good location, surprisingly not too busy

This is nothing like an Aldi in the UK. It felt like a Waitrose store upon entry. The fruit on display looked and smelt amazing, the bread and pastries were fresh and delicious, there was a self service orange juice squeezing machine, fresh fish and meat were available at their dedicated counters too.

The supermarket is clean, well laid out, well stocked and very cheap compared to the UK.

The only minor disappointment was the queue to checkout was long.

I love Aldi in general. This place, like their other locations, has a great selection of prepared food and produce. Also, they had wine and beer available.

Aldi is better priced than the cheeky local supermarkets, we were ripped off in the local supermarket in Alfama who sold Lidl products!

Spotlessly clean. Very well stocked. Friendly staff. Excellent all round.
