Liberty Store

Wish we weren't just passing through. I found sweet pickle relish, distilled white vinegar, Vidalia onion salad dressing, pistachio pudding mix (for Watergate Salad), and a few of the States' sodas (Dr. Pepper, A&W Root Beer).

Love this place. It makes me remeber about the USA. It is also cheaper than other stores. I will come back again.

Great Shop with well organized shelves full of American delights. I wish they had more, but all the same happy with what they did have.

American products only. Good variety, that includes sauces, cooking foils, oils, vitamins, candies, cleaning products, duvets, etc. Friendly staff!

I'm from the USA and I feel like I'm home when I go here The prices are not too bad and every time I come to Lisbon I go here.

If you're craving American junk food
This is the right place to visit.

If you're in Lisbon and just can't find that mundane item that's ubiquitous in the U.S., this is your place. For me, it's sandwich-size ziplok bags in reasonable quantities (Portuguese apparently don't want bags smaller than a liter or boxes with more than 20 bags), but there are many such things that are irritatingly impossible to find elsewhere. The name and decor do seem a bit much, but aren't reflected in the actual store or its staff.

Very good selection of US items. Prices are a bit high considering how much the product actually costs, but at some point can be understandable when thinking on the taxes they must pay when importing and that's it's not a day by day supermarket. (More on the treat side)

It felt amazing to be in this store! I loved the whole US-themed vibe to it and all the products imported! I always dreamed of trying out Kool-Aid HAHA the day finally arrived! If I was living in Lisbon I'd probably visit it every single week! Huge props to Luis David for being such a good sport, recommending us stuff and just being very nice and communicative in general :] Thank you very much! A lot of success!

Expensive, but worth the taste of home on occasion.

Jackpot!!! We are expats. Here we found items that I was having "imported" by friends who would come to visit. Dill pickles, cereals, GOYA seasonings!!! Hot tamales! Brownie mix, Duncan Hines cake mix... Just a wide variety of things! I have been telling all the expats I know but forgot to post a review. Love this store!!!

Was craving a cold Dr. Pepper after being in Lisbon for a week, I happened on this store in my internet search. It was an oasis for a caffeine crazed delirium I was suffering from. Not only DP but other staples as well, I live Lisbon, but did miss my DP, now I don't have to worry, me and my DP will be very happy here.

I like going to the Liberty store once in a while. Even though I am not American, I like seeing products that you have heard or seen of on television. They also have variations of products that are locally available. They have a great variety and is well stocked and well priced.

Whatever your reasons are to be here in Portugal, whether you like it or can't wait to get back home once in a while you miss something from back home. Me? I miss Jiffy, Skippy, Mashmellows, Pringle, Cremora for my coffee anf Folger coffee, yes I am old and not a Starbucks fan. The staff was very attentive and placed a ramp for my wheelchair to access the store. It's definitely not a Kroger or Costco but I can tell you that I will be back for more. It's a life saver.

This is a great store for U.S. expats looking for brands and products not available in the local stores. If you crave American baked goods, candy, syrups, soups, cereals or need American quality aluminum foil, plastic wrap, heavy duty plastic plates, knives, forks, spoons etc.....they have it all.

It is what it is :) a taste of the big ol' US of A. don't be bichin if it's pricier than you're used to. Importing stuff is expensive as hell.

Place was cool. I liked the products. Wish there were more cereal options.

They have Dr Pepper for all of us deprived Americans out there. 10/5 stars.

It's the only place I have found Hot Tamales and Lucky Charms.
