You MUST VISIT this wine shop! Why go on a crowded tour when you can learn it all here?! Carlos (who speaks six languages!) is extremely knowledgeable of wines and introduced us to two new favorites! He thoroughly educated us to how they were produced! His shop also has many delights in foods to accompany the wines you choose. Easy walking distance, centrally located. This was like our own private tour with such a charming gentleman! So worth the experience and a MUST to include when you visit Porto! Thank you, Carlos!

Don’t let the size fool you - it’s packed with jewels - Carlos knows so much about the wines of Portugal and the surrounding regions; careful listener; all recommendations perfect; and the most warm, welcoming, and passionate wine shop owner I have ever met! Mind-altering Carcavelos changed me forever - may have to move to Porto! Visit this shop!

My favorite shop in Porto! This is not your typical store. Here exists a rare combination of excellently curated wines, beers and artisanal foods inside a beautiful shop, full of good vibes (and good music!), in a great location.

But the best part is that Carlos, the owner, is an absolute gem. I was immediately captivated, not only by his knowledge and enthusiasm about his products, but also by what a fun and inviting person he is to talk with. Truly a joy to visit! I will be back again and again 😁

It was a very nice experience coming here. I totally recommend.
I was looking to buy some wines for myself, for friends and family, but I am no wine expert and I didn't have a big budget. I searched for some places on maps and decided to come here and I wasn't dissapointed.
The owner is really passionate about what he does. He helped me decide which ones to get according to my budget, he let us try some wines before in order to decide and explained everything really well.
I left happy, satisfied and knowing more about wine than before. If you are looking for a good place to buy wine, this place has a very good selection for all pockets.

We were looking for a gourmet wine shop with fun snacks and this place didn’t disappoint. 10/10 recommend a visit. The store owner is so engaging, friendly and knowledgeable. We can’t wait to return and find some more goodies!

We stumbled into this small boutique store and boy we were lucky that we did! The store owner Carlo is amazing as helped us picked out some wonderful port wine, delicious cheese and outstanding canned fish. He’s super knowledgeable and stayed 30 min past closing to help us. If you’re in the area and need help finding some of the best wine, cheese and canned fish in Porto, you definitely need to stop in here!

The most incredible wine store in all of Portugal I am sure of it. From the passion to the products you can absolutely not beat it. The experience was such a warm welcome to Porto coming from Lisbon. You will not be disappointed and if you are you should do some self reflection. I can not say enough great things about this place and the owner. If I lived here I would be coming into this store regularly to check out the new offerings. The hospitality is so refreshing.

Carlos the owner is a type of guy who truly enjoys what he does :) He has great taste in wine and food. Everything, wine, cheese, canned fish, crackers, jams.... was beautifully curated. Prices were very fair and reasonable for what you get, here i mean including great chat, recommendations and free samples! (Btw, i have seen same wines and canned fish were sold at higher prices at other stores, so i feel sorry that there are some complaints about prices..) We loved this store and I really wanted to get everything here.

An absolutely incredible shop run by an incredible man. I was able to pick up the best souvenirs for my family that were reflective of Porto’s food and wine culture.

Fantastic little store with an absolutely superb selection of ports, wines and beers. The owner(?) was a lovely guy who was incredibly helpful. I can't thank him enough.

What a wonderful experience!! We walked by wanting some wine and were given an expert breakdown by the owner. He was passionate and so happy to share his knowledge. He also gave us wonderful recommendations on shops nearby to pair with the AMAZING wines selected. If you get the chance you should stop by and find out for yourself!

What a hidden gem!! Come for the wine, stay for the wine lesson!! This man (I am ashamed I didn’t get his name) is so knowledgeable about wine and can sell you the right bottle at a good price. On top of that, he’s also brilliant with recommendations. I bought a bottle one day, came back the next day to ask for recommendations for wine tastings and everything he recommended was gold. I cannot speak highly enough about this shop, 11/10 would recommend

As inexperienced wine drinkers, we were really appreciative of the owner who asked us great questions and provided recommendations. The shop is tiny, but their wine and craft beer selection is selectively curated. They also have a fridge fill with wines and beers that are ready to be consumed. A must-visit.

The owner was extremely knowledgeable, and so interested in his products. He told us about olive oil and sardines and wine and port wine, and what the best qualities were and how to choose. He was friendly and super helpful and very interesting to talk to.

Carlos was amazing!! I am a winemaker myself and searched the whole city for high quality wines that I could not buy in the states. Store after store I saw Taylor’s and Cockburn, and many representatives were touristy, not knowledgeable on the products, and cold. I explained my dilemma to Carlos and he lit up, giving his own personal review of many wines. He is extremely knowledgeable and passionate! He even opened a bottle to share while we chatted about his wines. This has been a highlight of our trip and I highly recommend to anyone who loves great conversation and amazing family owned, local wines!

I came here to buy gifts for my family and friends. The selection of canned items was really good and decently priced. I’d recommend people come here to buy any little gifts that would love to take back home. The bottles and cans are conveniently marked to tell you if you can take them on your hand luggage which I found was super helpful. The person working there was also very delightful and knowledgeable of the different items that are sold there in the store.

Lovely store for Portwine! Owner is very knowledgeable and friendly. He will happily explain to you anything regarding port and help you find the right bottle for you! Perfect place to get wine to take home.
