WeDive-Lagos

This is a great diving school.
My girlfriend already had the open water diver qualification, but it was my first experience of diving. So we started with a session in the pool in the morning. Everything was explained and taught to me very well. In the pool we also practised individual actions, techniques and signs that I would later need for the open water licence. It was great, and Delfina, our instructor, was always calm and guided us very well. In the afternoon we had our dive in the Atlantic. We were also well guided here and everything was explained. I always felt safe and had a great first diving experience. I can really only recommend diving here to anyone.

The highlight of our holiday for our 9 year old daughter was a chance encounter with Jessica and Ines at the Marina Club in Lagos. She was offered an introductory scuba diving lesson and enjoyed it so much that we booked lessons for the following two days. Our daughter, at 9 was too young for an ocean dive so her lessons took place in the pool and Ines was her instructor. Grace loved Ines, she was so patient with her and made her feel so safe and comfortable under water. It was a fantastic experience, it really boosted Graces confidence and we will definitely be back to book an ocean experience. WeDive from start to finish were highly professional and there is a lovely, friendly, welcoming atmosphere. Located right on the Marina and in lovely Lagos, I highly recommend you put this on your bucket list for a memorable holiday experience.

My experience with WeDive was wonderful. I am a newer diver with little experience especially in cold water and everyone on the team was so helpful and kind. Federico was my dive master and was so encouraging and supportive, literally held my hand to make sure I felt comfortable and safe. Delfina and everyone on the boat were also very helpful and great teachers. Would highly recommend!

My first diving experience ever was smooth sailing. Great team, very knowledgeable instructors and top notch equipment that helped me feel safe and warm during my open water diving certification. (The waters are definitely a bit colder) Big shoutout to Xico for going above and beyond to teach me everything I needed to know and more in the pool and ocean sessions (such as safety checks, practical tips and tricks and compass navigation). And Delfi for teaching me and guiding me on my first two open water dives with clear instructions as well. It was a great experience. Also the new diving centre on the marina is really nice and definitely worth visiting!

I did 3 dives and a refresher course with the shop. I really appreciated the diving instructor Luisa who did the refresher (haven't dived in 4 years) & the 2 reef dives with me.

I first went diving with Luigi on Sunday morning (the plan was 2 ship wrecks). I was hoping for a chill reef dive that day so I was not mentally prepared for a narrow ship wreck. I finished the first dive but I felt claustrophobic and didn't want to get lost in there. When I came back up I decided to not go for the second ship wreck in case my anxiety would come back. Plus the water was suuuper cold (16°C)! So I stayed on the boat with Miguel, the skipper that day. He was very kind and understanding. I didn't feel any pressure to get back in the water and I appreciated that from the staff.

Since I didn't do the second dive on Sunday, the diving shop provided me a credit for another dive later in the week. I was really happy to find out that Luisa would be my guide for the 2 reef dives on Tuesday afternoon. She made sure I was OK at all times (especially when I was too cold in the water) and really wanted me to have a better experience in the water. She was very professional, understanding and friendly. I would go diving again with her anytime!

For the divers who haven't tried cold water diving before (like me), I strongly recommend to wear a short wetsuit + vest + long wetsuit like Luisa recommended for my second diving experience. The visibility wasn't great this week but we got to see starfish, nudy branches, squids and a huge crab! A lot of fun on the boat with the staff who provided a fun atmosphere. 😀

Had two really nice ship wreck dives with WeDive. Dive Guide Delfi is awesome. The dives were advanced (30m, 20 degrees, trough the shipwrecks). I paid 100€ for the dives with gear and a extra torch. The gear was not in the best condition. Wetsuit had some cuts, from the shoes the protections went off and the gloves had holes at the finger tips. The shop looked really clean.
I felt save while the dive with guide delfi!

I did my Open Water Instructor course on WeDive and I cannot be more happy of the choice I made.

Amazing instructors, quite reliables and super professionals that help us during the course ( Paulo, Nuno ) to understand the teorical and practical parts ( confinated waters and open waters ) and achieve the best results to be more than ready for the final exam with the SSI evaluator Duarte.

Incredible staff, always being ready to help, friendly and efficient, taking care of all of the equipment need it for the course, as well as the logistical part doing transfer to swimming pool or driving the boats to the open water dives and always having safety as the main part of the activity.

Awesome installations, even if you can still find them in the Vila Galé Hotel of Lagos, the moved their headquarters to the Marina of Lagos ( right in front of their boats Cheetah and Heliox ) making it much easier to access for any customer that is walking around the Marina or the city of Lagos.
Installations are much bigger so could find the reception and the shop, the area to get ready dressing up the wetsuits and equipment, lockers for the customers and also a learning area for any course could be going on.

So if you are thinking to do a professional diving course, recreational course or just start in the incredible scuba diving world, I highly recommend you to choose WeDive as your first option.

What a great experience. We thought it's gonna be tough to schedule our dives as we have little baby boy on his first vacation with us. But that was no problem at all. Nuno and his great team full of professionals provided us with great experience and high quality of the rental gear. I must reccomend Ocean park revival with 4 ship wrecks which is simply stunning and must to do when here. Location of shop itself is little hidden in back garden of the hotel but you'll be able to find it. Overall money very well spent professional divers with great friendly attitude and family like atmosphere.

I got my Open Water Diver Certification with WeDive and could not be more pleased! Everyone was so professional and kind, Delfina was an especially wonderful instructor, and the dive sites were some of the best in Portugal. I will be diving here many times over.

My boyfriend and I dived here this week and we had a fabulous experience! Delphina and our boat captain paid great attention to us. Equipment was pefect, we felt really safe. We dived in two different wrecks, we were lucky enough to see daulphins. Thank you for the experience. We recommand this dive centre.

I did some dives to refresh my skills and the SSI advanced course with WeDive and had a great time diving with them. Everyone in the team was very nice and professional from the beginning on. I went diving with the instructors Paulo and Julio. Both of them are very skilled, took the time to explain everything and gave me many helpful tips to further improve. Great experience overall and I can only recommend WeDive.

Did my advanced open water PADI At WeDive and felt reassured at first instance which is always what you need when you are newish to diving like me. I was told that WeDive is the biggest dive centre in Lagos, with a tight and amazing team. The divemasters are really skilled and knowledgeable of the environment. The visibility underwater isn't the best, but there is still plenty of fish and coral to see and an unforgettable experience after all for a good price :)

My sons have been diving and learning to dive with Nuno and his team at WeDive since 2016. They have taken the boys through SSI's Try Scuba Diving, Open Water Diving and Advanced Adventurer courses. What comes to mind in what Nuno has created and delivers is the consistency of quality, experience, fun, safety and advice. We trust him and his team. My boys have come away with progressive learning/development as divers and also confidence in their ability and of course many memories. Thank you Nuno and all the instructors, skippers and interns at WeDive.

We had a great time wreck diving with Federico, who perfectly supported us and showed us everything! The whole rest of the team was also super friendly, very helpfull and always communicated in advance :)
The dive center is at a hotel - we got the equipment there and were then brought to the harbor. Everything very well organised!

WeDive is a wonderful scuba diving outfitter! The gear they offered was in great conduction, the service was wonderful, and we thoroughly enjoyed our dive master, Miguel. The visibility was low because of giant swells the previous few days, but we still had a great time with an amazing crew! We did two wall dives, swam through an arch, and Miguel even found an octopus for us! Thank you so much, WeDive! Hopefully, we can do more in the future!
