Meia Praia

Meia is on my top 5 best beaches, because it is very wide, it is very clean, and the waves are fantastic. I got a feeling here that will stay with me for a very long time! Peace and the ocean!

Beautiful large beach with access to the water and plenty of space to relax and enjoy the water.

Usually never overly crowded and a great place for those long walks in the water.

Of all the beaches to choose from in Lagos. This is my personal favourite one. Fantastic for a long walk on. It is never over crowded as the area I picked there was not many people close by so loads of room to myself. Highly recommended.

Simply beautiful beach. Cold water but really clear and refreshing. Recommend a dip followed by a relaxing lay in the sun.

We also went to one of the several little beach restaurants along the boardwalk and had a refreshing beer - highly recommend

Love this beach, naturist on the section of beach beyond the end of the boardwalk parallel to the Palmares golf course. Plenty of space to get your naked on, me and my girlfriend go all the time. Shame the dog walkers and their dogs dont keep their distance.

Very nice long beach but bring an umbrella if you want to hide from the sun. They did have also paying areas where you get beach chairs and umbrellas but they are at the beginning of the beach so you will have a long and painful walk to the water. Great for surfing around lunch time as the waves tend to be higher at that time.

Lovely beach with toilet and restaurant facilities. Less than a 5 minute walk from Meia Praia Station.

Fantastic beach that has loads of space and wasn't overly crowded even in August. The sea doesn't get deep too quickly so is good for kids. Lifeguards are situated in the main parts of the beach too. The beach cafe we went to was excellent too (see pics) but can't remember the name.

It's a beautiful beach to spend a day or two. It's long, sandy, clean. There is planty of parking nearby, volleyball nets, and some bars and restaurants

Excellent beach. Long stretch of golden sand with one area with dedicated lifeguards (in August at least). Not much shade so bring a sun canopy. There are some rentable sunbeds but don't know the cost. A bar and a restaurant at the back of the beach and also public toilets. The Atlantic Ocean is freezing so don't hope for much swimming unless you're braver than me!

Lovely beach, especially in December. No crowds!

The beach for everyone. It is a 4 km long beach with places for everyone including dogs.

We had the amazing experience that every morning a guy with a bagpipe played what was so lovely.

Just love it here, gorgeous sandy beach, lovely tavernas plenty of free parking. Great if you love collecting shells. Fantastic at night time

Very nice beach, avoid it in windy conditions from North or Northwest or you will get all the sand everywhere. There is free parking, some restaurants have toilets connected to the beach for free (bring some paper though, its often finished). If you walk to along the beach away from Lagos you will find all the pretty sea shells. Most parts of it is guarded aswell.

Wide and modern promenade along kilometres long beach. It differs from other towns of the coast with its modern take on exteriors.
Really nice idea of evening walk. Good range on shopping, cafes and reastaurants. Sunset over the sea was absolutely stunning view.
