We were looking for a place to eat chicken by the marina and we found the perfect place! There was happy new year balloons and posters all around to make it very festive. The waiters were incredibly nice to the 2 kids we had with us
Not to mention the speed of the service. We ordered 1 chicken and chips which we highly recommend! If you and your kids to be satisfied you need to come here ( we will definitely come back here again)

We were recommended this place by our taxi driver - and actually came here twice during our visit to Lagos.

We had some wonderful food and some lovely vinho verde - the cheapest per litre that we found on our trip.

The atmosphere was great, super busy with a healthy mix of tourists and locals.

Food highlights for us were the Bacalhau and the little cheese. Highly recommend!

Amazing place for a quality dinner date or for the whole family.
Came here with friends (8 pax), so we had lot's of different dishes.
We had chicken, rips, fish and seafood and literally every single dish was prepared and seasoned perfectly.
You can tell that the kitchen specialized on each of their meals.
Eventually we ended up ordering several desserts which were delicious 🤤

So all over 5/5 ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

We saw long queues outside this restaurant multiple times on our holiday so decided we would go one evening. We went early to beat the queue, around 5:30/6pm. It was huge inside, like a big dining hall. The portions are large and we’ll worth the money we even took some potatoes, bread and fish pate home with us. The garlic squids are delicious, I got picanha brasileira and it was quite tasty, sliced thin but cooked very well. My partner got the swordfish and it was delicious, meaty and flavoursome.

We had the grilled chicken and fried shrimps - excellent. All washed down with the great house wine. Superb service from Fatima.

It has a cafeteria atmosphere with very quick service. The fish was fresh and grilled to perfection.

Simple dishes that completely embrace Algarve’s cuisine.
I recommend the grilled swordfish and fried squids.
If you’re going here in august bare in mind that after 8pm you’ll probably have to wait on a line in front of the restaurant.

Edit: came back during late autumn and had to wait at the front entrance. We were inside and seated within 5 minutes. The place was packed, maybe 200 people inside but they have a lot of wait staff and everything ran smoothly. Our waiter was brilliant and the food was stunning.

Previous review: Don't expect a warm welcome but do expect great food at reasonable prices. There were four staff outside on the Avenida when we arrived. Not one of them greeted us or even seemed to notice we were there so we just took a table and waited. Not a great start. Took a while to get someone to take a wine order and I was wondering if I should just vote with my feet and move on. Lucky I didn't as it got better, much better thereafter. The wine was good (and cheap) and the food was simply delicious. The staff were efficient and worked very hard. My only observation is that the staff showed no emotion whatsoever, just cold focussed efficiency. My vote is still 5 stars for the quality of the food, the location and the price. Unbeatable.

Yummy... that was a delicious meal! We stepped in relatively late on a Monday evening. It was nice and busy but not packed. There was plenty of staff (who were great) and everything went fine and smooth. I had a nice vegetable soup to start and then some really delicious fresh squid from the grill. Served with boiled potatoes, raw onion and tomato... it was perfect! My girlfriend had some super tasty garlic prawns, another simple but perfect dish. The dessert was also traditional Portuguese (cream tart and carob-fig tart). No fancy stuff, no effort to be something else, no huge portions... just good products that are well prepared. And all for a very good price, too. Yes, I recommend!

Went three nights in a row with friends while staying in Lagos. It was our favourite restaurant during our Portugal trip. Authentic, uncomplicated food done well. Expect a queue, even at 10pm, but it is worth it. We tried most of the menu and besides some fish being a bit over for our taste, it was all delicious. Particularly enjoyed the secretos, tenderloin skewers, grilled king prawns, sardines and clams. The layer cake is also fantastic. Highly recommend going if you're in Lagos.

Great food. I enjoyed the fried sardines and the clams. Others with me who had the sea bass said that was really good as well. This restaurant is down by the marina in Lagos. It is not a cute on the outside or the inside as other places, however the food and the service was 5 stars in my opinion. Next time I visit Lagos, I would definitely go back to Adega da Marina.

The food quality tops most of the touristic restaurants here in Lagos.
As starters we had squids & fried shrimps .
The mains were the seabass & red seabream . Very tasteful that you do not need to season it with lemon or salt yourself.
Cheescake desert is good, the biscuit base could be more crunchy but overall it was good.
Highly recommended!

Great food, great service, great atmosphere next to the marina. Many meat and fish options to choose from with a varying assortment of sides and desserts as well. The shrimp appetizer in garlic butter is the best I’ve ever tasted.

we stopped by by chance, looking for a place to have lunch. We saw that the fish menu was varied and decided to give it a try.

We certainly do not regret the choice. We ordered swordfish and scabbardfish as well as fries. The food came quickly, the fish was fresh and very well cooked.

We are only in Lagos for a day, otherwise this would be the place for lunch and dinner every day - fresh fish, cooked well, what more could one ask for on the ocean side?

Nice place for an authentic seafood experience. The place is crowded at even 10 in the night. Seafood is sold on per Kg basis. Grilled king prawns and fried shrimps are a must try. Must visit at Lagos for seafood lovers.

Really nice food .
Not complicated, not fancy just a good eatery - fast service and reasonable priced . Traditional cuisine, fresh fish grilled when ordered.
You have to try the prawns - the sauce is amazing.
5 euros for a litre pitcher of house wine .

Amazing seafood and at such a great price point! Portions were filling and the house steak kabob was melt in your mouth and full of flavor. Very satisfied with the experience all around and would go back in a heartbeat!

Recommend by Airbnb host, and it was a great place. We went for lunch on a sunny day, nice tables outside on the street with shade. We had sardines with the jug white wine (the best €5 I’ve spent in a long time). Prices were very good. Staff was friendly and service was fast.

The best place to have fresh seafood in Lagos.
The seafood can be ordered by weight. Fried Shrimps (45.5€ per kg) was amazing. Minimum order is 200gms and there will be about 10 small shrimps.
Grilled king prawns (67€ per kg) is served with rice, melted butter and chilli vinegar.

The place gets crowded in the evening. And usually it takes 10-15 mins for the food to be served.

Downside: you need to pay separately for the sides like bread, olives etc
