Casa do Prego

AWESOME place. Go get a Prego sandwich here, it was perfect for our rainy day. The 'chips' are fried potatoes and were among the best we've had. The house made piri-piri sauce was the perfect amount of heat. The staff was warm and welcoming, and loved chatting with us (as we enjoyed them).

Caso do Prego is a cosy place. The crew is relaxed and it is fun to watch them doing their work. We where two times there. First we tried the Tapas. Second time the Burger (Pregos) and the beef steak Sao Jorge. Every time the food was very delicious and tasty, the steak grilled to the point. I can recommend the Casa do Prego

This is the best restaurant I have ever ate for at least 10 years back. I recommend the Lisboa stake, which is to die for, with that home made garlic sos! Best restaurant to eat in Lagos, you will not regret it for a second. Even though it's very busy, the staff is so so nice and always smiling and happy to help with anything. The children's menu is very good as well, our daughter was very happy. We will come back surely!

Food came out very quickly and was delicious. The prawns and tuna were very good, and the prego sandwiches were absolutely fantastic. Great energy in the restaurant and the rooftop bar is a great place to be waiting for a table or grabbing a drink or two after dinner.

Jesus Christ, it was the best food in Portugal. Seriously guys you must try it. And prices are so affordable. Quality of every meal is amazing. Totally recommend it!

A beautiful place and customer service. I enjoyed every minute of my time at this place. Not only food was amazing, customer service and staff were the best point of this place. You feel home when you go there as they treat you like a family.

Brilliant meal with great friendly staff. The prawns were brilliant in the sauce, so spicy but so goood! and you have to get the prego roll, its delicious. The sangria is great also. Fairly priced and brilliant place for a great afternoon meal.

We came here on final night for our last meal in the Algarve. The menu is pretty limited but each of our meals were on point. The chicken was tender and flavourful and so was the steak. Tip: get their homemade hot sauce - could use that sauce as an IV drip, that’s how good it was.

Very good and quick service. Came in rather late, but the service was still perfect, no rush at all.
I took the tuna steak, which was perfect and the chocolate mousse, which was a bit "normal".
Overall, a must go if you're in town!

ordered the traditional portuguese sandwiches in 3 different variations (chicken breast, sirloin steak and tuna steak). The tuna steak was exceptionally good. We also had the homemade chorizos and cheese from the tapas selection, they were perfect with bits of nuts and dried figs to give pep to the taste. Great!

Absolutely lovely staff - top of the roof, delicious beautifully presented food, gorgeous Sangria, great atmosphere. Highly recommended. We went two days in a raw and were so pleased. Thank you to all staff.

My absolute top pick among Lagos restaurants. My only regret is that I found it on my final day. I wish I had the chance to dine here multiple times and enjoy multiple menu offerings. I can't speak highly enough of the camarao frito (prawns), pica pau de atum (tuna chunks) and cheesecake mojito dessert (OMG so good). I highly recommend dining here! The service was exceptional, with incredibly friendly servers!

I came here two days in a row. Tuna steak is insanely delicious. I could dine in though I didn't reserve it. I'd definitely visit again if I come again to Lagos. great services, the best steak ever!

We had a fabulous evening ( 2 times) at Casa do Prego! Really tasty and Amazing food ! Good Sangria and great service by our server. If there is time we will come from Portimao for the third time:)

New Year’s Eve dinner.

Lovely food, pleasant ambiance. The steak was out of this world perfect. The man who runs the place was very nice, and spent some time with everyone, to give us various details. The service was also good.
Nice music, nice atmosphere. It was really good.

Just one negative, although overall we had a nice experience and great night and I would 100% return.
My friend had the vegetarian menu, and her main was very oily. Surely they would have offered a replacement, but it was NYE, didn’t want extra attention or to complain. Maybe something that can be taken as constructive in the future.

We really enjoyed our visit at Casa Do Prego! For starters we ordered the garlic/ginger shrimps. Very tasty! The Portugese steak sandwich and the black pork tenderloine for our mains were absolutely delicious! Definitely would recommend this place.

Amazing experience here! The staff and food were INCREDIBLE. Our server Leo went above and beyond and even got us blankets when he heard we were cold. Great atmosphere and the octopus is 10/10. Will be back :)

Very nice Restaurant, good atmosphere and also nice music in the backround, you seat comfortable. The only thing thats better then the food is the staff everyone is Super friendly and have a good mood. From time to time they say jokes overall a very good experience. Would recommend

The atmosphere in this place is awesome. You might have to wait to get a table but you can go on the rooftop to have a drink. The white sangria is great. The staff is really friendly and smiley. The dishes are generous and so good.
