Incredible people making a great effort to create a positive impact while maintaining a high quality, unique and welcoming stay.
We stayed in the tent, it’s very spacious and well equipped, but if you’re not used to camping the cabins will probably be a better fit. It was a bit chilly at night and the detached compost toilets are a beautiful environmental choice but not for everyone, especially at night time.
We’d definitely recommend and be back to enjoy the other rooms as well as the ice bath and sauna which were great!
The landscape is relaxing and beautiful and the dogs and cats made our stay perfect coming over for cuddles.

Great great great place! The owners are kind and there is a lot of attention to detail. Def worth it. Stayed in the safari tent and also one of the lodges. The sauna and pool to cool off are great too. Inspiring and relaxing!

Very peaceful & aesthetically pleasing place. Quite hard to reach by car, lower cars will have a challenging time. That said, the destination is definitely worth it. Beautiful.

Also took a 1-hour ice bath workshop with Alex which added an extra dimension to our experience. Happy hormones all around.

I wish I could lie and say this place had problems so that it could remain a hidden gem... but Helena and Alex have done a WONDERFUL job with their property! The Lemon Lodge was a perfect stay!
From all of the eco friendly decor, to the setting of this suite, and the beautiful conversations with Helena and Alex - this place deserves 10 stars! Words do not do it justice.
This place in completely off grid and remote, yet feels like you have everything you'd ever need. I stayed there with 3 other people and my group had the best time!
I recommend this place wholeheartedly! If you stay here, the only time you will be disappointed is when you are leaving because you'll want to stay forever.

I attended a 1-day Wim Hof workshop with Alex and Helena at the wonderful Lemon Lodge. It was a thorough, thoughtful, holistic, and expertly-guided experience in a beauitful location. Alex is a true expert, and he leads you on a journey that includes group awareness, breath work, meditation, yoga, movement practices, a delicious and nourishing lunch, and finally multiple progressive ice bath opportunities. Alex creates a supportive atmosphere and his approach will help even the most nervous and scared overcome their fears. You can do it! The Lodge is hidden in a quiet valley with sweeping views over the Algarvian hills. It feels like a secret oasis. The facilities were great. Thank you Alex for this great experience. I wish you and your shared project much success!

Great place to stay. Off grid, rustic but fully equipped, in nature with the forest around. Unfortunately we only had 2 nights available here but it was totally worth it.

We had an incredibly nice time at the Lemon Lodge. The welcome from Alex was very warm and familiar - we felt right at home. The apartment itself is super stylish and cozy. The tranquility that surrounds you is priceless. The seating area in front of the house is perfect for sunbathing, barbecuing, drinking wine and enjoying the company - what more could you want?

One year later: Still a paradisiacal accommodation that offers everything you could want from a holiday in Portugal! Clean, quiet, beautifully furnished and top equipped. This is the second time we have stayed here and we would definitely come back again. Thanks to Alex, Michelle and everyone who made it possible for us to (again) have a great holiday.

The Lemon Lodge is an amazing place. Each detail is carefully considered and the lodges are planned very well. You have an ultimate privacy, you are in the middle of nature and all is prepared for you in the way to fully relax. We spend there 3 nights and it gave us such a quality relax and disconnection from the routine. The owners are so supportive and charming, whatever you need they are happy to help. We liked the place so much that we preferred to take a take away dinner and eat it in the Lemon Lodge because it is so lovely! Highly recommended.

The Lemon Lodge is one of these few magical places that never really leave you. Truly fantastic stay, perfect to unwind, switch off and get off the grid. The Lemon Lodge is truly a little paradise. From the moment we got there we felt at home. It takes a 10min drive up some gravel roads to get there so you are fare away from noise and stress. The house is very spacious, well equipped and decorated with lots of love. In the beautiful garden you can relax and spend peaceful hours. Alex and his team are super helpful and friendly and the warm welcome from the 3 dogs each morning is always a great start to the day. We will for sure come back...

The Lemon Lodge is a haven of peace where harmony and love of life reign.
We had a wonderful stay that I will never forget. Our hosts welcomed us perfectly. The decoration is perfect, the sea is very close and the village Aljezur is very pleasant.

The Lemon Lodge is a magical place built and cared for by their committed owners. The land is inspiring, quiet, beautiful and offers amazing views of the portugese nature.

Beeing at the Lemon Lodge you feel that there is a deep commitment and caring for the environment. Their beautiful lodges are eco friendly in design with a stunning interior. Inside and outside of the lodges I kept being amazed by all the creative details. Knowing that the owners created this by themselves is an extra worth mentioning. The owners are the best, super helpful, enthousiastic about their work and they definitely made it a memorable stay for us. The lovely village Aljezur is right nextdoor as well as some worth visiting beaches. All in all, this is a place you want to visit and -mark my words- visit again! Fantastic place! We had a very relaxing time in the beautiful and quiet surroundings. Enjoyed the beauty of the house, the delicious coffee, the sauna, the ice bath and the tip for surfing at Arrifana beach. Nice and accessible hosts who were open to all our questions. Highly recommended!

Wir hatten 5 unglaublich schöne Tage im Safari-Zelt der Lemon Lodge. Die Gastgeber haben einen ganz besonderen Ort geschaffen und waren super freundlich! Die Atmosphäre dieses Ortes ist wirklich einzigartig und wir haben die Ruhe, Naturverbundenheit und das Ambiente sehr genossen - inklusive der regelmäßigen Kuschelbesuche der Hunde =)
Danke für die schöne Zeit - sollten wir nochmal in der Gegend sein, kommen wir sehr gerne wieder.
