Fantastic experience! When I booked a table for this restaurant I didn't expect such a great dinner like my boyfriend and I had, despite the good reviews. We had the arroz con robalo and it was absolutely scrumptious. The setting is so full of details connected to the sea, from the walls to the menù, as well as the wash-hands basins and the entrance. I also liked the attention of the waiters that gave us a bib to protects our clothes from the stains the meal could cause. Fair prices. Definitely recommended.

Diner at Cervejaria Mar in Aljezur was the best I have had in many years! Welcome drink... delicious! Appetizers, main, side dishes, desert... scrumptious! the vibe, great! Ah, the best oysters I had in a while! So fresh and juicy! I had 4 for myself but if I knew they would be so good, I’d just had a dozen at least! A lot of dishes are to share but as I was solo I was recommended to try Sea bass fillet with sweet potato fries on the side, and it was very well prepared! Seabass was melting in my mouth! And sweet potato is my big love anyway. The staff was very friendly, attentive and smiling. Not everyone spoke English but they tried their best! I looked around at people (it wasn’t busy due to low season), and everyone was happy enjoying their meals! Very nice experience! Will come back for more seafood definitely! Thank you!😊

We were well attended to. We came about this eatery on the way back to Lisbon having shared some time with friends from Western Canada.
An owner spent time describing the menu and recommendations.
We tried the garlic prawns, cod, and some light starters, good enough to take us back. Many of the offerings here are collected from the local shores and mollusks sometimes captured in strong tidal conditions by the staff. You can see some of these situations on the videos played on the screens inside. We’ll by back, Thanks :)

Came here twice during our one week stay - amazing food, amazing service. Camarão Frito dose (shrimp with garlic and chill oil) was DIVINE but everything else we tried - you can really taste that every ingredient is fresh and freshly prepared. Worth coming every evening :)

Unreal. I went here over a year ago in the summer of 2022, and my partner and I still talk about how delicious our meal was. Walked in with no expectations, ordered the seafood rice (I think), and found ourselves moved to near-tears by how good the food was (ok that was probably just me, and probably had something to do with the several cups of wine I drank that night). Have since sent multiple friends passing through the area to Cervejaria Mar, all of whom similarly raved about it after. Go!

I went here on my own and then the menu is mostly for 2 Persons or more, so be aware of that. Eventhough i was on my own i had one of the best restaurant experiences ever. The staff, and espcially the waiters are amazing. They are so passionate, energized and proud of what they do. The food was amazing (and way too much haha, but that's not a bad thing of course!). Recommend for everyone who loves seafood and passionate people! I only have one picture, its not that pretty, but believe me, it was good.

Best seafood I've ever had. Stellar food and service. I normally dislike sopa de peixe, But theirs was incredible. This place is worth going out of your way for.

After reading a couple of reviews my girlfriend and me were curious to find more about this place. We were not disappointed! The whole restaurant was inside fully booked when we arrived (quite early) but outside at the back on the patio there was still plenty of room. The staff was kind, some of them speak English, and they also have an menu in English. We decided to try the Cataplana for two, and that proved to be an excellent choice. You get served all kinds of 'fruits de mer' in a delicious sauce. The prices are reasonable and the suggested (white) wine was well recommended so we left happily satisfied!

Very nice place, delicious food - above all seafood and fish! Do not miss this. The waiter was very friendly and gave us good recommendations.

Super fresh seafood feast. Full bar and wine. Cozy atmosphere in the center of Aljezur. Service was excellent and good humored.

We did not have a reservation but they were able to seat us. We are very lucky as although there were some tables open when we arrived, it filled up pretty quickly... unsurprisingly as the experience was excellent.
We focused on the "marisco" as we had not had any for a while, and it was worth it. We were able to taste a bit of most of what the house had to offer under the guidance and advice of the very friendly and helpful staff. We loved everything we had, starting with the appetizers that were exquisite. I hope to go back in our next trip to the area.

This is one of my favourite sea food restaurants in Portugal. The dishes are spectacularly delicious and fresh, some classic Portuguese cousin with a hint of extra oriental spices. The chef is very talented!
The service is amazing too.

We ordered lobster rice for 2 person and it was huge! With 2 lobster and many prawns and shellfish! Totally enough for a family! The food and the service is the best we have had in our 4 days trip in south Portugal. The guy who attended us is a gentleman, very friendly and polite. For very long we haven’t enjoyed service in a restaurant like this, cheaper one or way more expensive one. Highly recommended if you are in the area.

Delicious seafood and excellent service. I ordered the octopus salad and would get it again. The barnacles are good if you'd like to try something different. Velvet crab is to die for. There's also a seafood medley on the menu if you have a crowd of people.

In the Algarve. You HAVE you go when you're in portugal and have a car. Absolutely worth it. Prices more than reasonable.

Forget about big city hurry. This is a place to relax and enjoy your meal.
For perspective, this restaurant makes me drive 250km to get there.
I made the trip from Lisbon to Aljezur on purpose to have lunch here.
