Clube de Fado

I highly recommend that place. The service was beyond the expectations, everyone did their best with care and kindness. The musicians and the singers were absolutely fantastic. I went to other Fado places, but this one is simply the best. Food was also good. Basically the show is free, there's no entrance fee, therefore the prices of the food are slightly higher, but it's so worth it. Our waiter Alberto was such a kind person, like a busy bee he was serving everyone so quickly and with good manners, that's on top of the nice ambience

The Fado was unexpected and wonderful. We randomly picked a restaurant close to our hotel since we had just flown in. The food was delicious and the service was excellent and attentive. The way they presented and served the croaker and prawns was amazing 😍 I also like how they pause dinner service during the Fado so you can enjoy the singing and music. The Fado was with three different singers and one performance with just the musicians (no singing). If you get a chance, you should go to Clube de Fado.

We had a phenomenal time! A member of our party is gluten free and they were extremely accommodating! Luigi, our waiter, was helpful, knowledgeable, and friendly. Highly recommend!

We went in Clube de Fado after a night stroll in Alfama. We had wine and experienced about 4 Fado sessions. Great place, service and atmosphere.

Highlight of 17 day tour of Spain Portugal and Morocco. The singers and musicians were phenomenal. Even without understanding the lyrics, the emotions washed over you in waves. Good food and wine as well.

Phenomenal place with quality and taste. Both food as well as the interior where extremely elegant and the service turned out to be highly professional throughout the whole night. The atmosphere in here was really special. In breaks between the meals we could enjoy 100% live Fado music - full of tradition and the artists' passion. The food itself was at the highest level - starting from fabulous tuna paste (the best one we have ever had!) and the other starters. Main dishes (especially fish of the day) obviously turned out to be great as well! Desserts where a very important part of the menu - we ordered all the positions to share and they where ALL spectacularly delicious - we couldn't decide on the best one. If you are looking for a special place to dinner in Lisbon - you should definitely consider booking a table here!

Off the beaten path Fado restaurant near the river and definitely authentic. The food is good, we recommend garlic shrimp, the mushrooms and ham, and the poached pear for dessert. My love and I got to experience our first Fado together. We might not understand all the beautiful words but we found ourselves staring into each other's eyes feeling the emotion of the words. It's a magical experience and the songs are so beautiful. We enjoyed the experience and would recommend it.

Singers are good. Songs are enough. 1 singer says 2 or 3 songs without microphone. You can understand the historical dramatic feelings . White wine is good. Do not try Porto wines. It does not fit the music. Sugary. Cheese and tiger prawn is good enough.

S U P E R nice restaurant in Lisbon. Probably, some Portuguese will say this is a very touristy place, but I had the best time and food.

We ordered an entrance, which included bread, sausages, croquetas and olives, then mushrooms with jam, octopus salada (deliciousssss) and as main plate the bacalao. Everything was delicious, and the bacalao, the typical plate which can be made wrong, it was really good.

As dessert, we ordered the cheesecake, and it was not the best but tasty.

The BEST PART was the music. Local played fado live. Man and woman singer took place and make the ambience even better. Small sets between plates, no interruptions and very romantic.

The service was amazing! Suuuuuper nice and made us laugh a lot. It was very comfortable.

It's true that it was a little pricey. We paid 50€ per person with two entrances, one main plate, and dessert (all to share among three) and a bottle of white wine.

But, overall great experience to have in Lisbon.

Wonderful evening! We really enjoyed the live music and the food was delicious. I would definitely return. The performances started around 9:30 and lasted about 15 min and then they would take a 30-40 min break. The atmosphere was wonderful and so was the service. We spent about €65 per person.

What a grand experience with the Fado music.

The service here is really wonderful. I was a bit worried as a solo black tourist I may not get the best experience. However, I’ve been pleasantly surprised. The staff were very nice and they really looked after me. They made sure I was very comfortable. The octopus was very great and I really enjoyed it. The FADO!!! You can’t miss it. The female lead singer was spectacular. The restaurant made me feel at home. Maybe I’ll move to Portugal ❤

Definitely one of the best experiences I had in Lisbon. When they start to sing, music goes straight to the heart.
The food was also great. As a vegetarian I had options for both entree and main corse. The Caldo verde was beyond expectations and I really enjoyed the dessert.

Wonderfully authentic place. The food was absolutely delicious. I had pork cheek stew and my wife had baked cod. Both were extremely good

The atmosphere was wonderful especially when the lights went down and we were treated to excellent fado singing and music

Very friendly and attentive service, atmosphere is cozy & food was delicious.
We went on a Sunday and Fado started at 9pm. Every 20-30 minutes a different singer was presenting the classic fado music. In between breaks for eating and drinking.

A must have experience on the Portuguese culture. Good food, excellent Fado artists, cozy atmosphere and professional service. There are vegetarian options available. Good for groups. Highly recommended.
