The best grocery shop in Alfama area and the best thing is that they open for late night and accept all international bank cards, strongly recommend 👌

came here a few times to buy soda/cerveza. store was usually pretty empty but the worker who was there was very friendly and helpful despite not speaking very much english. Good stuff, i hope to be able to visit Portugal again, and if i do I'll make sure I stop by here

One of the best places to buy good wine and reasonable prices. Extremely friendly staff and quality products.. if you are in for a short visit or long, visit this mercado for groceries and wine. There is a lot of fleecing going on in alfama mercado sector.. this is only market that offered me reasonable prices..

I was staying at Airbnb close to this mini market very reasonable prices, was reluctant to go in there after reading some reviews but apparently these are the new owners so to me from Las Vegas the prices seemed great very convenient

Scammers
I bought several Monsters and they charged me 3 euros per unit. These people believe that because you are a foreigner they can charge you whatever they want. They only make a beautiful city like Lisbon have a bad reputation, not buying there is doing your city a favor.

Still a total rip-off! Whether there is indeed a new owner or not…
No price tags and astronomical,made up prices. Asked 14 Euro for a bottle of white wine that we later saw in another similarly small shop for 5.99. No fruit to mention. Worst experience of our whole trip to Lisbon.

We made a purchase that in a place of this style is usually around 15 euros and they charged us 25. They are scammers
