Food is good, very budget friendly and staff are friendly and helpful. We thought we had ordered something small but we later find out it was quite a lot on our plates. Left the place with happy full stomachs!

I highly recommend this restaurant for vegetarians. The staff here were extremely accommodating and friendly. The food was excellent and there were ample vegetables rather than mostly carb veggie options I saw elsewhere. I only wish I'd discovered this place earlier in my trip.
I had the veggie patty the first night. I was so thrilled to see a plate full of mostly veggies that I returned the next night, which was my final night in Madeira. The next night I didn't want the same meal but wanted more veggies than the pasta(which was the only other veggie option that night) likely contained so I asked for a side salad and extra veggies. They brought me a whole plate of salad, a whole plate of cooked veggies and a bowl of pasta. I actually ate very little of the pasta but it was all excellent. The prices were also very reasonable.

This place was my favorite place we ate in all of Madeira and even Lisbon included. The service was great and very fast! The food was so good every time we ate there with new options every day. We kept coming back and it's a great walk to the restaurant, the surrounding shops are so cute. Honestly the quality of the meat and even everything down to the seasonings and sauces are very unique and delicious. The desserts are to die for especially the cheesecake and triple chocolate cake! From what I understand it's a small family owned business and the women that run it are so full of life and kind! An absolutely wonderful experience and I could not recommend it more!

Very pleasant atmosphere, local feel, friendly staff and amazing food. Highly recommend to anyone passing through Funchal and looking for some good quality, affordable noms! Awesome fruit juice (apple, orange…)

Very friendly staff and the owner of the restaurant. It’s a local spot! A hidden gem, we were served very well and the food was delicious. Definitely pick their “ Day Menu” which is written on a glass board.

The food is really good and the fruit drinks are a must try. Service can be a little bit slow but to be expected when it's always full

Amazing staff, friendly, hospitable and genuine. As a vegetarian I was very pleased with my lunch. The world famous chocolate cake is as nice as they say :)
