Central, beautiful building inside and out, comfortable rooms and friendly, helpful staff

The hotel is in a beautiful old building with more than ample space for relaxing in both indoor and outdoor communal areas with relaxing and comfortable seating. Our room was large, bright, clean and very comfortable, the breakfast buffet was great and the staff and management extremely accommodating and flexible with our booking when we were laid up on our cycling trip due to some bad weather. A fabulous choice in beautiful Moura!

A truly special find. Building restoration and amenities are some of the best we've seen in our 2 months tour of Europe. Staff are extremely helpful and courteous. Outstanding value for the money. Lack of an elevator lift is the only thing preventing this property from 4 star designation.

Fantastic traditional hotel, great rooms with attentive staff, a good continental breakfast with a self service hot drinks machine. I have stayed here a few times and have always enjoyed it, and I hope to stay more in the future, One of my favourites. 👍

What a fabulous hotel this is, what a find the hotel is superb so much history and the rooms are superb and well furnished with lots of lovely antique furniture, the staff are very nice and friendly, it has a large car park in the garden with a back entrance, the breakfast is nice, we had the room on the first floor just by the staircase 101 I think it was lovely .And great value for money. Highly recommended.

I will start by the building, the building of the Hotel de Moura is beautiful. If you are looking to stay in place that has all the Southern European flair and character this is the place to be. The backyard and the reading room are stunning. Then is the rooms, with an impressive furniture of wood and marble that makes you travel on time where furniture was an art and not like nowadays with Ikea prebuilt stuff. I liked that is so quite as well, which helps you to relax or have a good introspective moment. The staff is super friendly and the breakfast is only with local products which gives you a bit of the flavors of Alentejo.

An amazing, grand hotel from the early 20th century. Nice decoration, walls covered with azulejos, great park view for most of the rooms. Good breakfast, large private parking area.

Had a great stay!! The building looks beautiful and typical potugese style! The room was big with a nice balcony and big beds!
