It's an old, traditional, simple restaurante and bar, known by locals because of the good beer. The food was very good. We tried Bochechas de porco and Ensopado de borrego. The last one, especially, was very good. Waiters are nice. It's very busy, however, and doesn't accept reservations.

Everything is perfect: good traditional food, cold beer, good quality, fair prices and very helpful waiter. have been there many times and was always 100% satisfied. if I would live there, I would go there every week.

Great rustic food, typical of the region (mostly), with a similarly rustic atmosphere. Great choice if you're a fan of that type of experience and don't have necessarily a lot on your pocket. The locals seemed to love the place and that is always a plus in my book. careful if you're vegan/vegetarian, as the options may be limited for you. If you can manage to communicate that to the staff, they proved to be very accommodating, otherwise you might have to eat somewhere else.

Splendid authentic Portuguese restaurant. Full of life and noise and people. We had our names on a waiting list but it was totally worth it. Beer ordered by pointing with your fingers as how many drafted Sagres beers your table needs. Simple meat or seafood with chips. I guess we were the only tourists there that night. Great experience!

Had amazing food and the service was a very nice young woman. We had the moelas, clams bulhao pato and other dishes - all delicious.

The only negative issue was that they accidentally forgot to put in our beef order and then instead of putting in the order ahead of others, we waited 40 minutes with very little acknowledgement by the manager, though our waitress apologized a couple times!

Amazing local place. Food is great, staff is nice, beer is the best you ever tried and the price is fair. Definitely coming back.

Good food, good value, very popular with locals, families celebrating, watching football, very busy but friendly staff. Can be noisy with all the people. Just great to soak it all in.

Genuine traditional food. It's a typical "street" restaurant, don't expect fancy service, but expect genuine flavors, nice employers and lively atmosphere.
