Our tour group had the best time here. Food was plentiful and delicious. Owner and staff were delightful. The cante music was fabulous.

We got in as soon as they opened and good thing we did, for we did not have a reservation. 10-15mins later in the entry there were a couple of groups of people waiting to come in (but there were no tables to sit). My point is - get a reservation.
The food, the decoration, the whole experience - very good. I had a "ensopado a pastora" (lamb soup with bits of bread), my significant other had a "migas com proco preto". Recommend also the migas dessert, or the "tarte de requeijão".
Overall, very good restaurant.

The lamb chops and the service were really good. The building is very nicely furnished with art of local / expat artists. The wine could have been one or two degree cooler but this is marginal. Highly recommended.

Great place to eat in Serpa, a very traditional vibe to the place.
Lots of options at reasonable prices, about 8€.

The food came and it was delicious, would happily eat there again.
Also they thoroughly clean the tables after customers and address all other covid safety.
