Art Center Caravel gallery and gift shop

Lovely art gallery and shop on the charming Rua da Santa María. Very striking from the outside (look up!) and lots of original art as well as gift ideas.

Nice and very welcoming art gallery! A lot of different art styles and modern artists living and making art on Madeira islands. It was so interesting to have a some kind of excursion. Thank you very much, we really loved it. Definitely worth a visit!

This is a very nice art gallery with cafe inside. Contemporary art is exhibited, you can also buy artworks. It has three floors to discover. Worth a visit!

Lovely gallery. Don't leave Madeira without stopping by!

On our trip to Madeira an visit of Funchal was necessary.
While Walking around we found this nice place and spent some time to buy several gifts for our Friends st home.

Great place to work remotely. You have WiFi, big tables and separate smaller ones if you need privacy. You can also enjoy fine art while you're working. There is food downstairs at Art Corner Cafe. You have to order take away to bring upstairs tho. There is a toilet and lovely staff to help you with anything. Highly recommended.

I am leaving a 5 star because it was amazing to see the art pieces, however, we went looking for watercolor paintings of Madeira’s points of interest, like Ponta do Sol sunset. We did not find such here, would definately recommend such art to be included.

Great art gallery, staff took time to show us around the upper floors and describe the art

Perfect for cat-lovers. I found here a lot of cute feline-themed things. And the lady working here was so nice and made me a photo with cat paintings

A lot of different art styles and artists. We got to experience 3d painting which blew my mind.

Nice tiles, bowls and cups alongside other handcrafted goods. Definitely not the kitsch you can buy at all those touristic spots all over the island.

Gorgeous little spot full of tasteful pieces of art created by local artists. We got a painting here, it was securely packaged for us to transport it. Highly recommend!

I really love the gallery, it is full of great artworks and especially I loevd this exhibition of the artist Ljiubica Solak from Macedonia. Colpurs and artworks convey me happiness! Go and visit it together with the art gallery and grab a coffee in the Art café 😊😊
