A friendly coffee offering delicious salads, sandwiches, wraps and more. A very good price/quality ratio in central Funchal. In good weather the terrace fills up quickly.

What a great find. We hadn't planned anything for the evening, just thought we would see what took our fancy. There was a great Jazz trio playing outside the place with tables and sofas. Had to wait 10minutes for a free table, which was fine because of the great music.
The menu isn't huge but that's not an issue. There's enough choice for most tastes and diets. We went for steak, salad and couscous (no chips here, which makes a pleasant change) at 10€.
Followed up with one of the nicest Madeira cakes I have tasted. Bill for food, 2 glasses of wine, a coffee, an evening of great jazz and attentive service - 32€. Excellent value.

We've found that little cafe in the afternoon and enjoyed sitting outside and having a drink there, so much that we returned the next night. They had great live music (jazz and bossa nova) - a magical night. Also the food (hamburger! and brownies 😁) and the drinks were great.
There is also a little shop attached selling nice handcrafted items.

Great location right next to the cathedral.
The food is delicious, the service is impeccable.
And the store with handcrafted things by local artists is a fantastic addition that makes the experience even more complete.
I'm sure I will come back there.

Lovely chilled atmosphere, often great live music and some interesting beers. Blankets provided when it's chilly. So good we popped in for a night cap three nights in a row.

Good lunchtime €5 meal of the day with a coffee, which today was a chicken salad, but it changes every day with the board showing the weeks choices.

Very friendly, nice and fresh vegetarian burger. Try the homemade brownie. We liked the personal touch very much.

Lovely homemade cake and wonderful espresso coffee. Friendly, hardworki g staff.

Saturday night! Good point about the price, pop and rock band (simply3 band) and food, is very very good option! !!!
