The food is pretty good, the atmosphere was all right and the staff was nice. I think it's a good option for a relaxed lunch.

We celebrate my sons birthday i this restaurant after a cancellation from previous without much explanation but we picked last minute, excellent food, nice atmosphere and friendly stuff, price were reasonable 4 people 150 euros

Staff were incredibly lovely, allowed me to try speak in Portuguese and were very patient with us. Atmosphere is beautiful in the old town and food was immaculate, fresh and creative.

We had a really great experience at this restaurant. The food was really delicious, amazing sparkling sangria and friendly staff. And the atmosphere in the street where the restaurant is located is really very nice. Great idea of dessert degustation! Strongly recommend this place!

Delicious food, excellent service. The fish and banana was really tasty.

High quality food and service for relative few money. I can highly recommend the Espada with fried banana, a normally ugly dish served in a good and nice way. We also ordered the 20 pieces of sushi, it was different from what we normally associate with sushi. The quality was exceptional, and it was interesting to try sushi with exotic fruit. The whole thing was great.

Definitely value for money! We ordered five dishes, all in top quality and presentation. Five dishes, with two portion of garlic bread, two coke zero and one large bottle of still water cost €96. Highly recommend this place! Must try their garlic bread.

Great desserts and wine was very good, recommended by the waitress. I would go back if I ever travel to Madeira again.

Best sushi I’ve ever had!!! And trust me, I’ve tasted quite a few in my life..Totally unexpected and incredible flavours..My family got the Black Angus steak, which you get to cook yourself..equally outstanding! I’d give it a 10/5 if I could, the service is wonderful as well, but the food is something else! Only one word: amazing!!!

Awesome food, went on a Monday in December and it was not crowded. Ordered some entrees and for the main course, the three dishes shown in the pictures.
Overall, great experience, really good and local food, great service and good wine selection.

Very nice restaurant with a private garden far from the noise of the street. The food was amazing. The best Black Scabbard fish and fried banana eaten in Madeira. The fried banana is awesome. The passion fruit mouse is very tasty. I definetly recommend it.

My friend had the hearty black Iberian pork cheek which was delicious and I had squid and prawn with mixed vegetables….absolutely delicious. The gin and lime ice-cream is a complete winner but the passion fruit mouse and cassata were equally delicious. The staff were very obliging and friendly and it was good value for money. We’d definitely recommend and return😀

I came with a group of friends and we just had the best dinner after 9 days in the island. Service was exceptional and a big shout out to Bianca who looked after us so well. I would highly recommend it.

Really great food and better service! We had the break basket to start (couvert) and then had the 20 piece sushi. Poncha is delicious and sushi is FRESH. Kudos to the sushi chef! Pedro was so helpful and Fatima welcomed us with a peace sign. Highly recommend and thank you for having us!

The food is excellent, we had a beef on stone, and also some dessert - passion fruit mousse. Both were extremely good. The stuff is very friendly and always trying to make you smile.

We were recommended a visit to restaurant Santa's Maria, and must say it was a absolute fantastic experience.
We was seated in the more private garden on the other side og the restaurant, and that is a good hint if you are to visit Santa Maria restaurant.
We only wanted a main course for dinner and got the traditional Madeiran.
The food was all 5 🌟 and together with the smiling and polite service it was a full 5 🌟 experience I warmly can recommend 👍🙏

Excellent food! Fully booked on the evening we enquired but very helpful staff recommended we try earlier for a walk-in and we were lucky due to rainy weather.
Staff are so lovely, atmospheric surroundings are romantic. Large portions and great food. You won't be disappointed! We had carbonara pasta and Tuna Steak with polenta chips and a Passion fruit mousse to share ..all lovely!
