Location is nice, speacially to have dinner outside. Waiters were very nice and kind.
Tuna tartar was simply delicious, our favorite.

We had dinner here twice this week. Food was fantastic. Waiters were pleasant, owner checks on guest experience. The tuna tartar we shared as an appetizer and was some of the best I have ever had. My wife loved the Prawns in Thai green chili sauce on first visit, second visit she had Polvo (octopus) equally delicious. Rack of lamb over chestnut puree was delicious, on my second visit I had delicious pork medallions.

Lovely restaurant in a gorgeous pedestrian street. We had a shrimp curry and espada fillet. Both dishes were very tasty. We also got complimentary curry soup with tuna which was a very nice surprise. Friendly service and reasonable prices.

Stunning Restaurant in the Old Town. On our first visit we ordered all the available starters on the menu and enjoyed all six of them for lunch. Stunning flavours and very enjoyable. Returned for second visit and enjoyed steak on the stone and fish. Amazing again. Staff are very professional, friendly and the location is beautiful. A must for a foodie visiting Funchal.

The best tuna steak I have ever had! What an incredible flavour from the first bite! It came with a wonderful risotto.
The chef brought us a Thai fish soup on the house that was amazing. I highly recommend.

Visited for lunch. Sat outside and went for a few starters as a ‘tapas’ or small plate style. Waiter was very helpful and knowledgable. Food was excellent - a fusion of Indian and local and very tasty. Waitress was very engaging and lovely to talk to. Highly recommended!

Fine dining restaurant in Old Town Funchal.

The reason we sat in was that we liked the vibe and the place seemed to be incredible popular.
Glad we tried this restaurant.

Amazing experience. High quality foods, professional service and customers are treated like top stars.

We visited twice during our 8 night stay in Funchal. Very popular restaurant and fit good reason. Service is excellent as is the food.
The complimentary dish of soup with Tuna was immense. Fantastic Thai style flavour soup ..delicious. The local bread with garlic is lovely as were the peri peri prawns. Perfectly cooked.
We tried the red snapper special which came with risotto. Great portion of snapper and the risotto was flavoursome but didn't over power and the fish.  Mains on another evening were steak on a stone.  Large tender fillet steak to cook as you like on  a hot stone served with delicious chips and salad.  The chicken tikka masala my husband had was good.
For dessert they had an ice cream style dish with almonds with hot chocolate poured over it. We shared it and the portion was just right.  Another dessert of filo pastry passion fruit curd and cream was light and tasty.
Good selection of wines for all budgets.
Recommend booking as it's difficult to get a table if not.
Around EUR75 for 2 people both having mains a bottle of wine , bread shared starter and dessert.
Seating both inside and out with a nice atmosphere.

This restaurant serves really good food, the staff also knows what they do. The steaks are also amazing. The only not tourist trap place on the street.
Better to book a table, because they are full.

We had tuna tartar and the menu specials prawn with coconut milk and veal with spinach, which was delicious. Such an unique fusion and totally worth it. Totally recommend!!

So- we saw recommendations at this restaurant. It’s in the tourist trap. But actually really good. We had red snapper - catch of the day- with ginger saffron risotto! And the bolo with delicious dips! Wow! Must say - the best experience after 5 days of dining in Funchal.
Nevertheless. They have a way to go regarding service.

It’s not just another restaurant you go and sit and eat. This is a restaurant you go to experience the food. The complimentary amuse-bouche is mouth watering. It’s the perfect beginning of your journey to the fusion cuisine. The tuna steak with the turmeric risotto is unforgettable. I tried it once and when I came back I couldn’t resist I had to order it again. And to finish off get yourself a real treat for dessert - a piece of culinary art. Great wine choice, too.

A lovely outside eating area that is at the end of the busy section so it wasn't crowded at all. The food was really beautiful and yummy and we'll be back for sure.

The Red Snapper was fantastic. Great place. Free aptetizer (soup) from the restaurant. Strongly recommend.
