Very nice and aesthetic space to spend a few days in the heart of Funchal Old Town!
Marcus the owner is a very kind guy, he waited us after midnight the airport when our plane arrieved after a delay.
The room is well equipped, there is almost everything you might need during a few days stay. The access to the rooftop terrace is quite uncommon through a roof window. I loved this solution!
The guests in the nearby resraurants are sometimes loud, but usually they get lost around midnight.
I would definitely stay here again, if I come back one day!

Stayed here for 5 nights in Feb 23. Amazing host that was very accommodating. The house is in a beautiful location. It is a modern interior but has lots of history. Loved eating out on the balcony at night. There is a restaurant outside the front door but found most nights the noise stopped around 10:30. Also our towels were changed during our stay.

Extraordinary house with a rest place on the roof. The house is built very smart - many things on a little place, all are beautiful. Just in front of the house there is a great restaurant. If you prefer a different type of restaurant, there are plenty of others on the street. You will love it here.

The best! Great service and nice Room

Excellent apartment. Everything you need and more. Bars, cable cars, bus station and shops is all a short walking distance.
