Such a warm service. Pretty little local snack bar, serving big portions of simple fresh food. The bartender was such a nice guy, recommending us food and activities in the city during Christmas.

Really a small bar in the island that makes the most tasty pregos in the all world!
The service was amazing and the 80/90’s soundtrack in the back was just perfect!

Great local bar selling excellent food and very competitively priced. I had a chicken salad with chips and a local beer for less than € 12.

The best snack bar! Food was very nice, huge portions, fresh and tasty. We've asked for something for a kid and they recommended omlet served with rice. Was so thoughtful that they served this meal for a child earlier so after feeding kid we could eat our dish. Was the nicest thing! Thanks a lot! Because of the food and friendly atmosphere we definitely will come back!

My kind of local bar. Lovely atmosphere with friendly staff and locals. Great value with tapas as a freebe. Close to the best Poncha bar. Could be a long day in Funchal, Madeira. Outside seating on the little square opposite.

Great place. Lovely food, large portions, fresh made. It was the cheapest place we ate and the food was delicious. Owner and staff are very friendly and have great sense of humour!

Fantastic little bar/restaurant with mostly locals, no 5 stars service but no fake smiles, very simple bar but with amazing food, I had the filet of Espada, with potatoes and salad and was a dream. Staff seems to not speak English but the food speaks!!! Excellent location, I highly recommend.

Cozy and busy atmosphere, I love this!
I just went to get a bottle of water - this place was one of the very few to be open on a Sunday afternoon selling water bottles. It was crowded and busy, a local soccer game playing on the tv, only locals (and mostly elderly) standing at the bar and all tables occupied, drinking coffee wine and beer, chatting and enjoying life. I would have loved to stay and share that moment over a few copos de vinho da casa or a nice cold Sagres. ❤

Great, relaxed place to stop for a drink while sitting outside. Very cheap and they offer you snacks with the drinks too! A hidden gem for sure.

You have to taste their poncha! I think it's the best we've tried. Loved the hamburgers and prego no bolo do caco - 5,9/6,9 € for "meal" with fries and beer. Staff is really nice and helpful. 10/10 would recommend this place and would love to come back again. :)

Great snack bar, huge portions, tasty and reasonably priced too! Lots of locals having their lunch inside the snack bar, and tourists sat outside in the little square.

Very tasty and relatively chip food. We take grand picado with beef and chips for 2 persons for 14 EUR and it was delicious. We almost made it😊

Absolute hidden gem, local, fresh and delicious food for low price, a go-to for the locals. Two sandwiches like this and two coffees for 6eur in total... can’t get better than this!

We had a tasty omelette and chips it came with rice too, friendly staff and spoke brilliant English.

Small snack bar perfect for a coffee and tosta mista! Staff was very friendly, prices were great and the outdoor seating area was lovely.
