Lovely hostess that is around daily and has good tips for local activities, clean rooms with everything you need, a beautiful garden (see pictures) to escape into when it is hot, and a stunning view (if you're not surrounded by clouds, that is).
Very slight minus points for the location: some stray cats seem to love the place as well, they are really sweet but a little too audacious. Also the neighbour across the street is a taxi driver and arrived home late at night a few times with lots of music.

Superb place with a superb view for everyone. We booked this place for 10 persons and we have the whole venue. The place consists over 6 separate apartments and it accommodates well over 14 people! There are a lot of communal places to sit together and eat. Also there is a nice pool that easily fits 6-7 people to swim around/play.

The road towards the house is a little scary for first time drivers in a mountain region due to the high elevation and sharp turns. But it really helps that the roads are well maintained. And the end view is worth the climb.

The caretaker of the venue is nice, polite and very friendly. It’s a plus point to have friendly hosts that are willing to recommend good and local shops and attractions.

Overall If I would come back to Madeira I would no doubtably choose this place over a hotel or other places due to its cosy and homely feeling!
