Marisol is the best on the beach restaurant/bar in Portugal. The food , wine and staff are fantastic. Perfect spot for cocktails and a bite while at the most beautiful beach in the world. Andre and his team will treat you like family ❤

I really liked this place. We had fresh fish, salads and burgers. Everyone seems that enjoyed their meals.

Watch the fresh fish being cooled at the grill near your table. The sea bass was so delicious and easy to eat. It was sweet and delicious and served with a side salad and boiled potatoes. A full meal for when you’re traveling at extremely reasonable prices. I didn’t even mention the view. It’s unbelievably beautiful. Now it’s time for me to sleep on the beach and go for a swim. I wish I took a pic of the fish dish but I was super hungry.

This is a nice restaurant located in a prime location next to the beach, offering beautiful ocean views. It's a great place to enjoy a cup of coffee and spend a relaxing afternoon in comfort.

4 years ago it was incredible tasty monkfish we tried there.
In 2021 I ordered a grilled fish and it was disappointing. The smack was very very wierd.

Such a lovely little hidden gem on the beach of Praia Dona Ana. Myself and my family spent the week here in Lagos, came to this beach bar almost every single day of our holiday. I can honestly say it was the highlight of the day, seeing and speaking with the welcoming staff and enjoying the delicious food and drinks. The staff of this place were so attentive and friendly that they made our holiday that extra special.

Good food for the restaurant on the beach. My husband said he finally got a good bread sandwich in Portugal. Make sure to bring cash.

Nice cafe right on the beach with great view. Our server was great so not sure why others have had issues.

Having read the reviews I wasn’t expecting much, however the staff were friendly and helpful and we thought the food was lovely and great value - especially for the location. We ate here several times while we were on the beach.

We had a wonderful experience here! Perfect location, stunning view, very friendly staff and delicious fresh fish! Clean toilets and shower that can be used without remarks when sitting on the beach.

Marisol is one of the world’s great beach restuarants. Located on arguably the most iconic beach in southern Portugal it offers indoor and outdoor seating with stunning views. The food is good and the selection expected considering it’s customers.

Yes, the wait staff may seem ‘rude’ to some. You should consider the folks they are waiting on are ruder. So many obnoxious posers taking selfies while holding an alcoholic beverage only to impress strangers on countless social networks, it’s a wonder Marisol is kind enough to allow all of us foreigners in at all.

If you want your waiter to be considerate start by being considerate yourself.

We love the place. It’s the top beach food place I hope to visit again someday.
