Absolutely amazing evening. Sharing pizza with mixed top ups is a must. Chef doing pizza in front of tables and cooked in proper pizza oven. Classic and tasty. Hard to find these days. Owners take care of every aspect of the business and make the experience. Highly recommended!!

Super Amazing food, great people, such lively warm energetic staff.

From the outside it doesn't look much but once inside and greeted by the family that owns the restaurant it becomes quite magical. The hospitality is warm and accommodating. The food is amazing. We were a party of 5 adults and 2 children. Our greatest food critic is our 3 year old granddaughter who ate everything put in front of her which is a first. We all left saying that was the best experience we have had in many years. We have booked again. A truly fantastic experience. Thank you to all the staff.

Family owned restaurant. The owners are a couple (Italian & British), their daughters and other members of the family are doing the service. Everybody is really friendly and chill. Felt really at ease there.
The pizza was delicious (I took the one called Bari) and the glass of wine really nice and fresh.

I also really enjoyed the atmosphere of the place.

Arrived here without a booking and just managed to get in which was a huge relief as I had read the reviews on Google before. Food was excellent and really tasty, the pizzas more on the Rome style (rather than Naples) thin and light with a fantastic tomato sauce. The waiting team were amazing, super friendly; service with a smile. Would definitely come back! Tried to give a good tip on credit card but apparently makes the accounting complex - so make sure you bring Euros as I’m sure you’ll receive great service too!

The best pizza we’ve ever had. My boyfriend had the gluten free seafood pizza and said it was the best gluten free pizza he’s ever had. This place is a must visit if you’re staying in the area. The staff are so nice and you can tell the food is made with love.

We visited La mona lisa as it was a stone throw from the hotel we were staying (Tivoli Carvoiero). We had a party of six. Food was delicious. Portions are a good size. We even went back the next day for dessert. Its authentic, well priced and staff are lovely

We can't say enough good about La Mona Lisa! The food is incredible and the staff are wonderful. The pizzas are the best we've ever had anywhere. I'm ruined for life - nothing else will ever measure up. The Tiramisu was also the best I've had. And the Bruschetta - oh my! We can't wait to come back again next year. Thank you to the entire Mona Lisa team for the gift you give.

My family have eaten here 3 times over the last two weeks, we all had pizzas and deserts, all of which were excellent. Service is brilliant, atmosphere is brilliant.

One of our party was gluten intolerant, gluten free pizza and a separate pizza oven allowed all to enjoy the great food.

On the last visit we did order one digestif drink that did not arrive, we pointed this out to our waiter and it was effortlessly removed from the bill.

Would I recommend Mona Lisa, definitely, a real find!

This restaurant is a little slice of heaven. We had various meals over two visits. Each time the food was excellent, tasty, exactly how a pizza should be made. All staff were attentive, really pleasant and we enjoyed the relaxed interaction with them all. Thank you all so much, we will definitely return if we visit this area again. Great Italian food. Family owned and operated. Wonderful people. Lasagna especially great and authentic. Mother is chef and daughters and husband waiters.

We went here due to a recommendation and was not disappointed. It is slightly hidden away, so can easily be missed however if you're in the area, you need to try this.

Staff are genuinely lovely, food is quality and very reasonably priced.

Also we had members of the party who were celiac and they catered so well for these. I would definitely visit again when I'm next in Portugal.

We visited for dinner on our first night here. We walked up from Rocha Brava and was an easy 20 minute walk. Food was lovely. Had a pizza and cannelloni to share. Sangria was nice but could be a bit stronger/ flavourful. Service was friendly and quick. Their family size pizzas looked really fun!
