Restaurante Primavera

Turned up on a busy Monday night without booking. Relaxed but attentive service, with lovely menu and extensive wine list. We were just looking for a pizza but was tempted into a starter and weren't disappointed. Carpaccio of beef fantastic and prawns delightful. Pizzas were fresh and tasty, just what we were looking for. Ended up having two bottles of excellent wine as we enjoyed the whole ambience of the place. Not cheap but the quality of the food, wine and service meant we felt we got decent value. Would definitely go back as the pasta dishes looked amazing. Many thanks

Excellent spot, great authentic Italian restaurant in the heart of Carvoeiro, in Portugal! The environment feels quite romantic in itself despite being close to a road, but that never really becomes a problem. I found the waiting staff pretty friendly despite some reviews to the contrary, and the food we all are was very good indeed - linguini Nero with prawns very tasty (black pasta is always a hit with kids!) Pizza decent and all pastas very good. Personally tried the salmon penne and the sauce is terrific! We went on a Monday evening and a live saxophonist played outside. Definitely added to the ambience! I will be returning here very soon.

Amazing place, good shade and good view to watch people and cars. You don’t smell the cars if there is enough wind. Elton is very friendly and working hard! Pizza was made with care you can taste that! 💖 I recommend this place!

We’ve been coming to Primavera for many years now, absolutely love the food, service and staff. The gluten free options are amazing and my husband and daughter always share a pizza and a pasta dish. The portions are huge! Remember to book as this superb restaurant is always busy. Quality food 5*

The visit was better than I thought at first. The staff was prompt and helpful all the way with fast response. The quality of the ingredients made everything to the next level. All from the steak's temp to the pasta composition. I will make another visit for sure.

I needed a break from all week of fish and seafood so I craved for meat. Had the grilled lamb chops and this place surprised me. The lamb was delicious and cooked just right. I also can’t have enough of the creamy potato side. Would have loved to try the other items on the menu - until next time!

We had a glutenfree pizza (every pizza can be glutenfree), which was delicious! As a starter we had olives with glutenfree garlic bread (it has the size of a pizza, so be aware to share it :)). All in all very good food, nice and friendly staff and I would recommend to eat there. Btw: the glutenfree option for pizzas is not in the menu (only for pasta) - or it's not clear enough to understand.

Food was absolutely delicious. I had the calzone (with added salami, sans mushrooms) and it was amazing. So cheesy! Service was good and friendly and the wine was very good too

I believe this was our favorite dinner out (with my husband and 23 year old daughter) while in Portugal. They have a lovely patio and had a talented musician playing his plugged in violin to contemporary tunes there. Sounds odd, but it was great. It added so much atmosphere and joy to our dining! Prices were very fair and we enjoyed the pizza, wine, and good service. And just a 6 minute pleasant walk for our Tivoli hotel.

We came with my family and everyone was extremely happy with their plates. We particularly liked the Spaghetti and Risotto with seafood.

We had a wonderful time here thanks to Marco! The corner patio seating is great to enjoy the sun and see the activity in the neighborhood. I really enjoyed the lasagna and overall friendly experience.

Great food, prices, staff very friendly, Arrived late to resort sold us some milk & water, until the shops opened next day.

We visited here in a group of 7 adults plus 1 child.

We were quick to be seated and the atmosphere in the restaurant was lovely.
Once sitting down it took 40 minutes for the drinks or food order to be taken - usually we'd be frustrated by this however the waiter was really nice, so we didn't mind.

At times there were no staff in sight and took a while for the drinks and food to come which was frustrating at times however once the food came, it was absolutely delicious. I cannot complain about a single dish of the food. It had been the best meal I had during my holiday in Portugal.

We also had two celiacs within the party and the options they had were quality! They seem to cater for all diety requirements.

On Monday nights there is an outstanding sax player / singer doing old jazz standards along side his play along music from the computer. Perfect dinner music... so many great songs. Best evening so far in the last three weeks traveling Spain and the Algarve. Great food and ambiance but having that level of musicianship and entertainment was a real treat. Highly recommend.

lovely place, food really tasty and cooked perfectly, though fish of the day was very expensive alongside other restaurant prices.

The best meal I had during my recent 2 week stay in Carvoeiro. I had the lamb which was delicious but the accompanying gratin potato was the real star. Also had the best tiramasu for dessert. Couldn't fault it. I guess if you just want pizza there are cheaper places.

Probably the nicest restaurant we have tried in Carvoeiro. Highly recommend 👌
