Touriga Wine & Dine

This place didn’t have many reviews so we were skeptical. We arrived early for dinner (5:30) and were able to get a table without a reservation.

The service was outstanding. They ask you what kind of wines you like and then expertly suggest one from Portugal that matches those flavours.

We had the smoked ham croquettes, pork cheek, cured tuna, roasted peppers on bread, salad, and chocolate mousse. Everything was delicious.

Highly recommend if looking for an intimate wine bar and tapas experience with great service.

Absolutely a great experience! Refined place with even more refined dishes out of great local produce. Service was outstanding, made us feel very welcome and the wines chosen for us were absolutely what we needed. Totally recommended!

Great food and service! They picked the perfect wine for us. The food was delicious and very traditional Portuguese.

Remember to book a table because even in the off season it is super popular! We had to sit outside but they provided blankets so it was still cozy.

Great place, very attentive staff and enjoyed the food. As the name of the restaurant implies, great choice of wines. The food is very neatly prepared, we enjoyed our evening and highly recommended. Prices are on the higher end considering the size of portions, but it’s surely worthwhile.

Our evening here was truly a memorable experience from start to finish. The quality of the food, paired with impeccable service and a charming ambiance, made for an unforgettable evening. The grilled octopus – was tender and succulent. The razor shells were a culinary surprise for, we tried them for the first time – served with a mouthwatering sauce that complemented their natural brininess perfectly.

We also tried two different desserts (almond cake and crumble with fig jam) and both were great.

Their sommelier expertly guided us through their extensive list, helping us find the perfect wine and explained us a lot about Portuguese wine regions and culture.

Last but not least, the service was exceptional. The staff were not only knowledgeable but also incredibly warm, welcoming and friendly. us feel right at home, adding to the overall charm of the restaurant.

Charming ambiance, it's a must-visit for any seafood lover. It is not a cheap place, but if you consider the quality, you definitely get a lot for your money. Great place! Hope to come back soon.

Absolutely lovely experience. The waiter brought us a wine to try which is a new favourite. Noticed I was cold from the intense wind that evening and brought me a blanket for my lap. I would recommend this place to all of my family and friends!

Would definitely recommend this place! The food was great and they change the menu so there is always something new to try. The owner was very knowledgeable about the wines he paired with our food and honestly it was some of the best wine in Portugal we had tried.

This Wine Bar is the best in town, no doubt. The food is exceptional, the staff is extremely attentive and knowledgeable and I can highly recommend this restaurant! Touriga - a wonderful experience. We have now eaten here twice in the last 4 days. Wonderful scrumptious food and an amazing wine selection that allows you to explore Portuguese Wine from many of its regions. The staff are attentive and very knowledgeable. The recommended wines went perfectly with the food we chose. Service at its very best!

Well worth the short walk up the hill from the village centre to savor this experience.

Noticed this small spot on our first night out, came back the next day and the day after. Absolutely loved that spot. From the wine, the food, the service, everything was absolutely perfect! Would recommend to anyone who want to try local dishes with local wines. Waiters are super knowledgeable about all their stuff. Prices are super reasonnable. I would give a 6th star if i could. You are missing out if you don’t go there at least one time.

Such a special experience! Ask for your taste in wine and they will surprise you with wonderful, mostly uncommercial wines. The food options are delicate and refined..all in all.. a memorable moment..

Perfect place, where tasteful local food perfectly goes along with Portuguese wine. Owner knows a lot of wine spice combinations and Portuguese wines in particular. Great atmosphere combined with incredible food and wine.

The best Lulinhas (baby squid) we have tasted and Trio de Pestos as starters. Main dish and Crumble Algarvia also at high level, together with a nice Touriga wine.

Could not recommend this place enough. Best food I have had in a long time. Wine was so good too and very reasonably priced. Staff were so friendly. I will be back for sure

What a wonderful place to eat and drink fantastic wine. The food was super tasty and cooked to perfection. Bruno recommended some lovely wines and a tawny port. If you love good wine and tasty tapas - this is your place!! I was hesitant it being a little bit from the centre but so glad we made the trip up.
