O Stop

Without sounding like a fake post, this restaurant (food, location, and their attentive and amazing staff) is perfect.

Daniel and David were so kind and made our stay in Benagil so memorable. Thank you for the hospitality and delicious meal/drinks.

Recommendation: octopus, piri piri shrimp, clams, and pineapple, ginger mint smoothie are delicious.

Get a seat by the beach and the views will be breathtaking.

Chicken Piri Piri was the best I've had in years! Wife had chicken skewers and really enjoyed it. White Sangria and the fries are awesome! And the beach setting is beyond compare.

Went here twice during week long stay nearby. Spectacular location overlooking beautiful beach. Very friendly staff. Perfect spot for drinks and food with a view while feet in sand on outdoor terrace. We had the family seafood platter, would recommend.

I have been coming to this family run restaurant for over 25 years and it never disappoints. David the head waiter and son is a credit to the business. He is always so positive and happy enthusiastically trying his hardest to make your experience perfect. His smile is contagious and knowledge for wines exceptional.
The food is super fresh and mouth watering and of course the views are out of the world!

Great food, great prices, great people and a stunning location.

It’s a busy place so there can be a little wait for the food to arrive but it’s completely worth it.

The staff are extremely friendly and the food kept us coming back.

Our personal favourites were the Grilled Salmon and the Passion Fruit and Basil smoothie which you have got to try.

I’m honestly sad I’m home and I’m really going to miss it.

You will never find a more beautiful place! We discovered the O Spot after hiking and had coffee there every morning after that. We also had a couple of meals - the Golden Bream is outstanding! We enjoyed a sunset there as well. David and the entire staff were wonderful. It is a magical place, very chill and spectacularly beautiful. By far the best beach in the area. Added bonus - the hiking in either direction is second to none. Definitely recommend!

Perfect view and delicious food. I had Algrave style fish pan. It was plenty for 2 people. Servers were busy and forgot my drink order but they are kind and quickly apologized its mistake.

The O Stop restaurant at praia de Vale de Ceneanes beach must be situated in one of the most impressive coastal locations in the vicinity, right beside a stunning shoreline. The establishment offers indoor dining with panoramic sea views, or outside overlooking the extensive sands. Vast rectangular parasols provide ample shade from the strong mid-day sun for alfresco diners. The food has a good reputation and the whole place has a cool vibe. Nearby parking is somewhat challenging unless arriving early in the day. There are a couple of disable car spaces close to the restaurant, but not very easy to access.

Tasty fish and nice spot right above the beach

Went for drinks whilst visiting the beach. Drinks were nice, good value, especially the cocktails. Lovely place to sit and enjoy a drink whilst having a great view of the beach. Kids loved the American milkshakes.

Great view. Good menu options, really nice to have after completing a walk. Service was a bit slow, but when we asked for a more shaded table this was instantly granted. The bill also arrived quickly after asking and more importantly with a friendly chat and smile. Would visit again if in the neighbourhood. Food was nothing special but of good quality.

The food is surprisingly good (super good!) - surprising because it's the one restaurant right on the beach and guaranteed to be busy. The staff are friendly but be prepared to wait quite a while for food.

The food was absolutely delicious, and the spectacular views of the beach and sunset only enhanced the dining experience. David, our server, provided excellent customer service with his great communication and attentive care.

This place is the place to be. The music was so fun. The food was phenomenal and the staff were upbeat and kind. Not only that, the VIEWS!

If your close by, or not, get over to O Stop. You won’t regret it.
