Novo Sabor Hamburgueria

The best food experience that we had during our entire weekend trip. We had Mushrooms Risotto and the most surprising burger I tried in years - Novo Sabor, served on a plate (without bun). Great quality and taste - definitely not a typical burger place. The chefs are ambitious and serve quality food with a twist - you can tell the difference from the first bite. The tomato sauce was a real homemade thing, a true artisan work. The place had nice decor and stood out from other places in the town. We decided to go there after a 2nd round around the town when we couldn't find anything decent. We were misguided as we thought it was a typical burger place, but we were lucky we checked the menu - there are real gems hidden there :) Definitely will visit again!! Thank you!

During our extended stay here in Sao Martinho do Porto we were fortunate to discover this delightful eatery.

While their creative burgers (and really everything else we sampled from the menu - from pasta dishes to perfectly scrumptious pizza) were fresh and delicious and would certainly keep us coming back for more, the service here is equally worthy of great praise! We are from the States and frequently find an absence of friendly and attentive service when dining out back at home. It's obvious the owner and his staff are on a mission to deliver extraordinary customer service here and it shows.

Great food at very reasonable prices, a relaxed and inviting indoor/outdoor dining setting and service that will make you feel welcome, appreciated and well taken care of. This gem of a restaurant has it all.

I am American and I grew up on hamburgers and I LOVE them... but the best in the world is here in little Saõ Martinha do Porto. The fries are golden semi sweet. The bread is made on site. To top it off the burgers are enormous. We finished with a delicious but not to heavy strawberry cheesecake... much better than New York cheesecake. The prices are shockingly low. The service staff was so nice and kind. I will be back time and time again.

Fabulous place to stop and enjoy an excellent burger. Numerous choices of toppings. Cooked just as you like it and crispy bacon that's just mmmmmouthwatering. Extremely attentive and helpful staff. Highly recommend this place to all.

During our stay of 7 nights. We ate 3 nights in Novo Sabor. Food was excellent hamburgers, fries and garlic bread with Tomatoes so tasty! Prices are very reasonable.
It’s a family business, nothing was too much trouble. Rodrigo served us he is 13 years old, and hard working, he always had a smile for us and spoke great English. Definitely worth a visit.

Quiet night at 7pm in December. Not much open but the lights were on here. We peeked in to a cozy place. I opted for veggie pasta and my husband had the burger with goat cheese and fig jam. That and a bottle of wine... amazing. We will definitely return!

Excellent restaurant. All the family enjoyed our burgers which were freshly cooked. Service was very good and waiters very friendly. Very reasonably priced also.

Great juicy burgers with homemade chips and mayonese! The deserts are also great, I recommend the desert board/buffet so you can taste a bit of everything. The staff is cheerful and helpful :)
