Beautiful Atlantic coast beach. Excellent for surfing or just chilling on the beach. Local shop and restaurants available in season. Lovely village.

Very nice beach with a calm sea.
You have free parking around, just have luck to get it fast/first otherwise in the town, you have paid parking.
Close to the beach there are coffees with average prices so you can enjoy the sun when in the beach or when you get your ice-cream in the coffee.
The sea here is calm and not deep so with kids it's great because you and them can enjoy it. There is also a kind of river that finish in the sea and here the water is really calm. So another great spot for the kids play.

A perfect example of the beaches from Oeste and Leiria (the region). Plenty of sand to make sure you never run out of space, calm waters most of the time, natural protection from winds and many restaurants and amenities.
There's a library (rare gem for a beach) that provides free Wi-Fi, and many of the houses in the village are for rent during beach season. Plus, there's also a bike lane that takes you to the nearest villages.

Lovely wide beach with good facilities. There is a small stream of water where children can play safely if the sea is a bit rough. There is parking around, but you may need to park up the hill.

Wide beach divided by crystal clear small mountain stream. Even when it's busy it is still quiet enough to be able to enjoy the beach and sea. Good parking along the main road. It's a bit of a climb but worth the effort ....

The river on the beach is used by small children as playground.
There are lots of parking places, but after 10am is hard to find one available near beach.

I love this beach. Small cafes, a great and cheap surf school, and the beach is taken care of well, and is large. The beach is fully prepared in early June for full beach going.

Great, safe beach especially for children. Busy in the summer so arrive early for parking cliseby. Great little cafe in the beach serving a variety of different shellfish.

Nice like beach hidden away from many touristic spots. Ideal for children as they can safely bath in the junction between the river and the sea.
