Miradouro do Suberco

A great spot to watch the huge waves of the Atlantic crashing against the coastline. It was extremely windy when we visited in February but definitely worth a visit.

Always nice to visit this place. This time a lot off tourist, local sales from food. Restaurants open for quick lunch or only snack or coffee.

Amazing area that you can admire or even swim in the atlantic ocean! Many good restaurants are nearby with excellent food and good prices.

Great viewing platform overlooking Nazaré. Unfortunately the funicular was undergoing maintenance when I visited. It's a slightly confusing drive there since there a number of one way roads.

The best view ever from here. You can see all of Nazaré from this point and all of the Praia do Nazaré. It’s even better during the sunset, with beautiful colours and a very relaxing chill vibe

The world's biggest waves happen right here on this spot. It was a calm day when we visited, and it would have been awesome to experience this. They say the waves can reach 100 feet!

Breathing views of the coast, very worthwhile to stop if you have a rental car to enjoy the ocean breeze.

It's a medium walk from center of town, going downhill first. 2 Euro admission to climb the rock stairs to the observation deck and lighthouse. Great views

Nice spot to take some photos and appreciate the view over beautiful Nazare.

Beautiful little place, set in an area overlooking Nazare, take a stroll to watch the surfers. It is a walk on a slopes, but there are tuck tucks to ferry you back and forth.

The view during the day is great, but night is a whole different vibe. I remember coming here a couple of years ago, but it still hits just right.

What a nice view of the Atlantic- a must see!!! Although its an uphill road to return to the central square of about 15' (you can pay a jeep to get you back, but if you are physically able i recommend the walk).

A vantage point to catch stunning views of the big waves at Nazare. The views here are breathtaking. It is very windy here. The place is teaming with tourists trying to take pictures. There is also a lighthouse and a church closeby. This whole place is enchanting. A must see on my opinion if you are in the area

Sick views for sure. Overlooks the main beach area..

One of the surprise viewpoints that I discovered during my Portugal trip. You can either walk up the stairs or take a trolley to go up. The trolley is very cheap, 2 euro per person one way. The view of the atlantic ocean on one side and the beautiful city of Nazare on the other side, with the white houses and orange tile roofs on them, I absolutely loved it!

Surely the most famous and beautiful miradouro in all of Nazaré. At days of good weather or big waves, you may expect many other tourists and an impossible situation to park your car.

The views are stunning and the little church is adorable. We were there during a nice clear day and we got an amazing view. We were lucky to go off season because I am sure that place is crazy during the summer. If you’re into brilliant views, this is the place to go.
