Can't express how much I love this place. Great food, with a great atmosphere and waiters who have been working there for years. Shout out to Victor! It has been getting slightly more expensive over the years, but when the food is this good it's understandable. From the garlic and carrots to the steak on the stone, I'll forever be coming back to Ribeiro's.

Excellent fish. Had the seabass. Yum! Saw others having the steak, looked very good. Was able to see fish and meat before placing order. Cool. Homey vibe, servers very friendly. Almost had me converted to being Portugese...

This is our favourite restaurant in the Almancil, val do Lobo area. It is basic, but last time we visited 80% of the diners (over 50 people) were Portuguese. The tablecloths are paper, but the atmosphere is “buzzing”. There is a wonderful fish counter and meat counter, from where you can chose your food, from a small fish for 1 to much bigger fish serving 3-4 people. The steak on a stone is always popular. To finish there is a great variety of Portuguese sweets like “Molotov” or Almond tart. Again these can be chosen from the chill cabinet. The fact that so many Portuguese go here is testimony to the quality and value for money. We always come here when we are in the Algarve.

Great fresh locally sourced fresh food, big variety of meat and fish, super skewers, all at reasonable prices, lovely welcoming staff, a firm favorite spot. Hidden gem.
