Quinta do Lago

Played the South Course, recommend playing this if you are in the Algarve, a testing course with a lot of character. Good pace of play and a buggy bar on the course too. Greens were great and quite fast (don't go off the practice greens, very different). The practice facility is epic too. We hired clubs, Taylormade Stealth stiff shafts, only criticism of these is the sand wedge would be better placed with a 56o as the Stealth SW has a head like a brick :). The club house is really good too with a large decking area and great choice of food and drink. I'll be back again to try the other courses soon.

Lovely safe water activities are on offer even for toddlers. It is very pleasant for the family to be snacking nextdoor into one of the pubs or even at the elegant Casa do lago

Upscale location for wealthy people from all over the world. Fabulous golf courses, fantastic beach and multimillion villas. Spotlessly kept and looked after place.

The most exclusive resort in the Algarve. Wherever you go you know you are in a special place. Crossing the lake and Ria Formosa natural park leads to the long sandy beach. Lots of high class restaurants and bars. Secure and family friendly location with various top golf courses within 10 mins. The campus is great for fitness, tennis and training. The Quinta shopping complex is relaxing in the day time and lively at night. If you are looking for a classy location to holiday or live this is the place.

It is such a beautiful area of portugal with lot's to do.

Always a nice place to visit, walk or sit and enjoy the landscape, the sun and nature. Depending on the zone you are you can see flamingos, ducks and other birds.

Our second visit this year stayed a week. Relaxing peaceful, a natural oasis with a wealth of wildlife. Easy access to miles of sandy beaches.

The staff at this hotel are outstanding in so many areas. Barbara in the restaurant is utterly professional, but blessed with a welcoming warmth and an ability to remember each guest's name.
The decor, especially in the rooms is a little dated and technology support somewhat lacking, but every area is immaculately clean.
A memorable break.

2 lovely golf courses well maintained, the area is clean with many restaurants and amenities, close to the beach and country side

We have been coming here for almost 20 years & it's just like coming home again each time. The apartments are beautiful. They are kept in pristine condition as are the grounds. Improvements are being made all the time.
All of the staff are very friendly & are like a second family. Nothing is too much trouble for them, whatever job they do. They are all very attentive. The food is amazing & the cocktail & wine demonstration sessions are well worth attending.
The resort is security controlled & family friendly. The coast is a 10 minute stroll away & is a Coastal Wildlife Reserve. It is beautiful.
If you are looking for a peaceful, comfortable & friendly place to stay, then this is it. I highly recommend it.

Good meal. Enjoyed the calamari, tuna and pasta dishes. Didn’t get to try the squid.

Our annual week at Fairways, Quinta do Lago. Brilliant as usual. Special mentions for Dano's, Dos Passos and Tony's restaurants.
