Conrad Algarve

This might be the nicest hotel I've ever stayed at. Everything deserves 5 stars. Lovely room, wonderful staff, excellent service, great food options, delicious breakfast, relaxing spa, complimentary valet, quick drive or shuttle to nearby beaches. I'm sure there's more I'm missing. Also, we enjoyed walking across the street to the Cheeky Pup! Next time we're in The Algarve, we will be coming back to The Conrad!!

We went through to the Lago Lounge high tea for my wife's birthday celebration. The service was friendly and the staff attentive without being annoying. The high tea itself was delicious and enhanced by the decor and ambience. Will definitely be coming back!

To the hotel manager how do you achieve such a remarkable professional work force?

From the moment I arrived to the time I said goodbye the staff at all times were not only amazingly attentive and helpful but were always smiling and happy with no exceptions to make my stay the best time possible.
The hotel has a lovely feeling of space and grandeur with style to match. Both the indoor and outdoor infinity swimming pools are spotless and without the claustophobic of some hotels. The rooms screams luxury with some lovely unexpected touches...
The breakfast a must and a real treat.

Owing to its commanding position inorder to get to the golf courses you do however need a mode of transport.Unless you have a 4 ball booked then you will need to pay for taxi transfer from the hotel ,which is a pity. There is however a free transfer to the beach but only operates in high season .

Comes highly recommended and is a proper retreat.I will be hoping to return but please keep this our secret as this is a rare gem.

My boyfriend and I stayed in this beautiful hotel the beginning of February for couple of nights. We were welcomed with couple of cocktails, free partking and a very nice ammenity in our room...which by the way was incredible! The view was so pretty and the place was huge. We had a delicious breakfast each morning and a awesome experience for dinner. Meeting Andre Soares was really cool. He is so knowledgeable, friendly and professinal. We also had the pleasure of meeting Ankit Kumar, very welcoming, attentive and warm to our needs. Both are great representation of The Conrad. We really enjoyed our stay and will recommend it to anyone who visits Algarve, Portugal.

I'm a critical customer where hotel stays are concerned, but this hotel just gets it right. From the moment we drove through the gate for the first time up untill we left, we felt welcomed and appreciated by every staff member. Valet is complimentary and all folks on the bell staff were super friendly and welcoming, throughout our stay.

We got a (very much appreciated) upgrade (as HHonors diamond) to a very nice suite on the 6th floor with an amazing view of the pool and the rest of the resort and grounds from the huge outside terrace. The suite itsself was as impeccable as the rest of the property and very nicely decorated with a cozy, warm feel in both the living room and the bedroom. The overal design of the room is that of a true, luxury 5-star hotel, with warm wood panelling, metal and glass accents and comfortable furniture. Tiny TV's in both the kiving and bedroom though, but the design if the room doesn't really allow for a larger TV.

The suite had a seperate half bath off from the entrance hallway (toilet only, no bidet) and a full bath with large bathtub and large shower. And of course, as you'd expect in Portugal, the master bath has both a toilet and bidet, which is appreciated as well. The bedroom has a seperate walk in closet with a his and hers closet and some drawers.

Other things that come to mind: Super fluffy robes, unfortunately just one size, so a bit small for me, and oversized for my better half. Fresh flowers, turn down service, Nespresso machine with various cups, both lungo's and espresso, as well as a kettle and good selection of teas and infusions. Seperate night lighting in the bathroom, which we only discovered on the morning of checkout :). Good glassware, both tea and espresso cups, and small amenties like bottle openers, a shoe horn, umbrella, etc are all there.

The bed is top notch, great comforter and down pillows, as well as a pillow.menu with numerous synthetic options. Both slept like a baby.

The resort has various pools. We only got to try the indoor, or covered pool and hot tub. The main outside infinity pool is heated though and actually felt quite nice, but we couldn't find any towels and skipped it. It doesn't help that the pool is on the north side of the hotel, so no sun in winter season. There is a second pool complex further down the grounds (Dado pool), but that was closed for maintenance. Looked great! So we ended up in the covered pool, which was heated to about 30 degress. Very nice and a good size. The pool area design get's that luxury feel quite right. Love the lowered ceiling and indirect lghting design around the colums and ceiling edges, as well as the pool tiling. The pool area is still open to the outside,day and night, all year, which feels a bit wasteful with all that energy for heating the water literally going out the window. The hot tub is just 2 degrees warmer than the main pool. We would have liked that a bit warmer, it gets quite cold after sitting in it for a while. There is a small sauna as well, which was great, with a very moderate temperature - great after soaking in the pool for a while.

Got a complimentary welcome drink in the bar, which turned out to be their signature cocktail and really very nice. We sampled some food as well, and as it turned out, they serve some really great sushi in the bar, that comes with a nice wasabi and soy sauce, not your standard Kikkoman. The only small point of critique were the cheap wooden throw away chopsticks in a paper wrapper.

Breakfast was superb. Very nice buffet, not huge, but a great selection, as well as various made to order dishes. We tried their signature omelette and salmon egg benedict, which where both made to perfection. Good fresh orange juice and cappuccino served to your table, as well as several other fresh juices and a very drinkeable bubbly to pour yourself. We had breakfast included due to Diamond status, but if you'd have to pay, prices are very reasonable, at EUR 22 for the buffet only, or EUR 30 for the full breakfast with made to order options

Will be back!

What a wonderful hotel to stay at in the Algarve. Not too far from train station or airport and short Uber or Bolt ride from Faro. Across the street from small shopping mall.

Excellent service all around from the concieges to the servers at the restaurants. Very quiet, clean and relaxing hotel. Really loved my suite and the view of the pool and beyond.

The hotel did a great job at providinga chocolate cake and bottle chamapagne for my Anniversary! THANK YOU!

Gusto was a very delicious and high end meal. You have to make a reservation and a must eat!

Every aspect of the Conrad - Algarve experience was first class, comfortable , and geared to happiness of the guests in a truly 5 star way.

The personable and kind attitudes from the minute you walk in the lobby, met with the wonderful Gonçalves, to the wonderful individuals at the 3 restaurants inside.

Because of our lovely interactions with Ankit and the rest of the staff at the Conrad, we would HIGHLY recommend this hotel for your stay in Algarve :)

If you want to relax in South Portugal look no further. From dropping off our vehicle with valet we felt very welcome. The accommodations are excellent and the food is amazing. Gusto and the Spa is highly recommended. We recommend without reservation

It was a 1night stay for my husband's birthday treat. All the staff were excellent ,we had lovely conversations with Lucas in the bar. They made my husband's birthday very special.

Everything about the Hotel from the time you park up and meet and talk to all  members of staff from all areas of the Hotel has been amazing and made our stay so relaxing, a big thankyou to Ana and Ankit . Hoping to return next year. Mr & Mrs Grimes.

Hotel is really beautiful. It has a lot of swimming pools, nice spa area. Staff is super nice and helpful, especially Nuno from Front Desk and Bruno from the bar (he’s doing the best coctails ever). It’s the best hotel I have ever stayed. Food during breakfast and in the restaurant is so delicious.

This is my second stay at Conrad Algarve, both are on my birthday. A fantastic hotel with top notch hospitality seems to be an understatement.

As soon as we arrived the hotel, the attentiveness and helpfulness of the staff are constantly felt. Anything could make our stay more enjoyable, big or small, was apparent that of the common intention and endeavor.

My husband and I are loyal Hilton members. We travel the world and experienced many hotels in or out the Hilton chain. Conrad Algarve no doubt won our hearts to be one of my most favorite hotels in the world.

This year I turned 70. The celebration was a bit more meaningful to us. With our Diamond member status, we’re upgraded to a lovely suite. A bottle of wine, a box of cookies, and the fresh cut flowers awaited for us in the room and set the tone for a very pleasant stay.

Gusto by Heinz Beck is a Michelin restaurant in the hotel. We had their 9-course tasting menu, and thoroughly indulged the culunary fantasy they created. What’s more was the service. All the team members were well trained and work with enthusiasm. The human touch made the food alive, and we felt the excitement 360 degrees.

The hotel is stunningly beautiful. Surrounded by mountains in the background, the huge infinite swarming pool and other amenities are very pleasing, let alone the Moorish influenced architecture. Some guests we chatted with chose to just stay in the hotel for days and enjoy the facilities. The hotel also runs shuttle bus to its private beach multiple times a day. We took advantage of the convenience and spend many hours swimming in the ocean, lounging on the beach, and enjoying food and drinks while being embraced by the gorgeous scenery.

After we went back to the room, a bottle of champagne, a birthday cake, and a personalized birthday card jumped to my eyesight! The surprise overwhelmed me… The kindness, the love, the attention to detail, the thoughtful organization… all was supervised by Celia Freitas, the Guest Relation Manager, who’s been working at the hotel for 11 years. The quality of the team under her leadership speaks for her dedication and passion to what she/they do everyday, day in and day out.

Two days we spent at Conrad Algarve, we got to know many people there by their first name. It’s a formal big 5-star hotel, yet an intimate environment we felt very comfortable and particularly enjoyed the personal touch and conversations.

Wholeheartedly we thank the hotel staff, particularly Celia, who made our celebration truly memorable! My husband and I have decided to come back every year for my birthday, a new tradition was born. We so look forward to enjoying the hotel again, and see the lovely and friendly faces again, hopefully soon!

Genuinely one of the best hotels we’ve stayed in around the world. Staff are so kind and helpful. Rooms including beds very comfortable and clean. Staff around pool brilliant. Car service to restaurants top class and fairly priced with none of the usual taxi shenanigans we’ve experienced in other countries and hotels.

One of the standout features of my stay was the exceptional quality of service provided by all of the staff, particularly Gonzalo and Luz. They went above and beyond to make me feel welcome and comfortable, and their warm and kind hospitality was truly unforgettable.

The luxurious details in my room were also a highlight of the stay. From the soft bedding and plush pillows to the stylish decor and modern amenities, every detail was thoughtfully curated to provide the utmost comfort and relaxation.

As a Hilton Diamond member, I was thrilled to receive an upgrade to one of the best suites in the resort. The spacious and beautifully appointed room exceeded all of my expectations and provided the perfect backdrop for a truly unforgettable stay.

The exceptional quality of service, warm hospitality from all the staff, luxurious details in the room, and great spa made for an unforgettable experience.
