Having visited this restaurant 3 years ago, I was surprised to read negative reports, and a mere 3.5 stars on TripAdvisor. Our visit in the last week of October when many others in the area were closed, we were met with fantastic staff, really good food, the same fantastic setting, and nothing to prevent top scores all round. See you next time!

Everything was amazing. From the setting, to service and food. Will definitely go back! One of my favorites in the area. It is pricey but worth it.

Just for the sight and to enjoy a drink or a decent meal when the sun is friendly enough to stay with you. Calm. Genuinely authentic. Let's go there. And go again. There's something about it that will take you back.

Service is friendly but there was a distraction on ordered dish that caused two of our guests to wait some 15 minutes longer for replacement.

No words to express the kindness and the welcome given by the staff, the food is amazing, I strongly recommend. 5 stars no doubt.

Marvelous seafood dine after beach day!

A fantastic restaurant to eat seafood. Full of traditional dishes and great quality of fish and shellfish. Can highly recommend the dish 'Arroz de lingueirão' as it is probably the best I ever had.

Great restaurant on a beautiful stretch of ocean. Food was delicious and the service very good. Staff is very friendly. House wines served are from the vineyard 500 meters away. Very good reds. I highly recommend the restaurant.

Great atmosphere, food, and service.

Mid January, glorious sunshine and a 3.5 mile walk from Cacela station. Worth every minute of our trip. The restaurant is expensive, but you get what you pay for on this part of the coast. The quality of seafood we experienced in this lovely well sited restaurant was very much to our liking. You can pay half the price elsewhere but it will not give you that special experience.

Very peaceful place to relax and take in the beautiful lagoon. Nice and quiet in March.

I have been sceptical, as there have been so many critical reviews, but this restaurant has been exceptional in terms of food and service. The quality and tastes of the dishes were so good and of superior of quality and the waiters extremely nice and attentive. View is super nice as well!

So yes, I have seen slightly more friendly waiters, but the guys were ok. The rest of the place is excellent. Grilled fish with tomato salad and vegetables, octopus salad as starter, beautiful views and overall a very relaxed atmosphere.
Don't be put off by the negative reviews, if you're in the mood for excellent fish Portuguese style, while looking at the beach and the ria , stop by and get into the flow.

Quality has a price, and I don't mean the price you pay for a great dinner! I mean the staff, not me most friendly, like the major small restaurant and coffee shops in Algarve. But the food, the fish, it's the best! Please do taste the Arroz de Lingueirāo!

Great food, location overlooking beach excellent

Great beach quiet and tranquil place. Ferry boat over to sandy Island for adventure.
Great Kiosk on beach, Portuguese owner speaks very good English.

Fabulous location. Ordered the razor clams and rice and it was ridiculously good.

Amazing Dourado was enjoyed, along with some green wine.
