Delighted family from Sevilla! Enjoyed a wonderful atmosphere, excellent service, and delicious food. Only hiccup was a slight delay in the meal's arrival. Overall, a positive experience!

A very popular restaurant that is full often specifically on weekends. I suggest getting there early or book in advance , if you don't be ready to wait.
The specialtys are seafood and fish and on high season there is live music playing. There are two large parking places outside so no problems parking nearby. The place itself is quite normal, no amazing views of the sea or fancy indoor design, it's mostly about the food. Very large portions. Reservations recommended for special occasions like mothers day, Christmas, etc

I’m rating this restaurant as a Portuguese from the Algarve loving abroad and coming back yearly to enjoy local food and I’ve grown with.
I’ve been coming to Infante since I was a child and it has never disappointed.
The restaurant itself has changed a lot but it remains as traditional as you can get.
I’ve chosen this restaurant to introduce my in-laws to their first Portuguese experience. The portions remain huge and a 2-person plate can easily feed 4 people.
We had seafood “cataplana”, some delicious “arroz de lingueirão” and grouper, accompanied by a great “Duas quintas” red wine. Everything was perfect and tasted like my childhood.
The waiters are kind and funny making up for a great atmosphere with other families around.
Depending on the season you might find some big groups of tourists so it’s wise to place a reservation.
Desserts are also quite nice and very typical. I’d recommend the “tres delicias do algarve”.
Overall, a very good restaurant that was able to keep its quality for decades and adapt to the new times without loosing its soul.

When a place if full of locals you know you are on to a good thing. Great selection of food, and superb service from the staff. Sizable portions and very reasonably priced. Steak was delicious…defo worth stopping in.

Despite passing O Infante for 5 years, we hadn't had a meal there until recently. And it won't be our last visit either. The setting is great, staff are wonderful and the food was delicious.
We had starters, mains and dessert and each dish was great. Even our son tried a few things we didn't think he would. The monkfish rice dish is so good and there's plenty in it to feed 3-4 people, way more than the recommended 2 people.
At no time did we feel rushed even though the restaurant was busy and we'll definitely be returning. For a special meal we highly recommend O Infante. It's not the cheapest place to eat in the area but it's worth it!

The food was great! The zapateira is really tasty! The bacalhau à brás is one of the best I have tried, and the sea bass was amazing! I will come back here if I am in the area!

Best restaurant in the area! This place has been our go to restaurant for special occasions for years. I’ve celebrated birthdays, Easter, and other occasions with family here. The servers are quite friendly, but sometimes if the restaurant is busy you may not see them for a while. They are understaffed. The food has always been very good. I’ve had everything from lamb to squid to calms and it’s always been very delicious. Their dessert selection is also very good. O Infante is a must try!

Not a traditional Portuguese atmosphere, it's white tablecloths, napkins, staff in uniform etc but the food is superb together with the view.
Our party had Octopus and the Squid - the portions were huge and very well prepared and presented, I have never seen a squid so big😲
For this level of restaurant in such a beautiful location the prices are extremely reasonable, if you stay away from the Lobster, Prawns and the fish priced by weight which can often be a shock

2nd time in this spot and definitely a MUST ! Last time the lamb shank was so good we planned on it today but they were ... out.... the substitution did not disappoint!

This was the first time we visited this restaurant. Cannot fault anything. Food, service, friendliness and atmosphere, couldn't get any better. Very attentive specially with families with children. My grandchildren enjoyed the food as well as the rest of us. Must book ad it get busy.

Great seafood platter, pricey but you pay for what you get. We had the shared platter between m three of us and still were not able to finish it.

Big portions and tasty food, often live music with pleasant tone, not too loud.

Every time we are around we go to this place to enjoy what for me is the best rice in the world. In this picture, rice with monkfish and super king size prawns. A taste of heaven.

Very good food, friendly and helpful staff and the only place open around after 2pm.

Amazing well thoughted and greatly cooked food. Friendly and fast service. The prices are really really fair for such an amazing experience.
