Very well made food(my favorite is slice of sword fish)
Portions are huge.you can ask to take it with you if you can’t it it all. Very friendly personel.
Take away grilled chicken is very well made.

Excellent food, very friendly service. Luis, the owner, goes out of his way to exceed customer expectations with a smile on his face. The daily offer of home cooking by his wife attracts local customers as well as the tourists. We enjoyed each and every meal we had there. Next time in Altura we will definitely go to O Farnel.

I came from switzerland with my wife for vacation. And on the first arrival date we searched and found this Take Away restorant and we call it " mother house" because of the stuff in this restaurant.....

Fantastic! High quality, typical Portuguese dishes at very reasonable prices. Definitely worth trying although it's not possible to reserve a table

Fabulous little gem tucked away along a street of large restaurants. Mainly take away though 2 small tables of 4 available out of main season. Food delicious, service great.

Best Frango I’ve ever had. It was delicious and for 7,5€ we got a whole chicken and fries for two.

Já vamos a vários anos para Altura passar as férias de verão, mas nunca tínhamos ido ao Farnel, como este ano levamos o neto, tivemos que procurar um sítio onde houvesse variedade de pratos prontos a sair e sopa , a verdade é que ficamos fãns , tanto da comida como o atendimento, são excelentes, ah não esquecer que as doses são muito bem servidas e os preços baixos,
Por isso 5 estrelas porque não há mais ,

Es un local muy pequeño de apenas 6 mesas, con una carta muy justa con especialidades a la parrilla, pero que esto no os frene en vuestra decisión, ya que cominos grandes platos a un precio muy competitivo. Tiene comida para llevar. Y como muestra os dejo un par de platos de su carta. Probad sus postres caseros.

Fui a este lugar en agosto y fue simplemente increíble. Lugar barato (menos de 10€ el plato), comida deliciosa, las carnea estaban geniales y las raciones muy generosas. La atención al cliente excelente, era como estar en casa. Tengo anotado este lugar para ir cada vez que visite el sur de Portugal! Muito obrigado!! :)

Restaurant simple mais avec une cuisine de qualité (pas du congélateur-micro-ondes). L'accueil est très chaleureux.

Das Personal ist super nett, das Essen hervorragend und der Laden ist sehr, sehr sauber. Besser geht es nicht. Ich bin sehr gerne hier. Ich freue mich schon auf meinen nächsten Urlaub, um hier wieder Essen zu gehen. Ihr macht mich mit eurem Essen, eurem Service immer wieder glücklich.

A comida é muito bem confecionada e os pratos são muito bem servidos e em conta. O pessoal é muito eficiente e simpático.Recomendo.
