Tosca Gastro Bar

So this was really an experience. The seafood risotto and tuna tartar was an incredible delicacy. Deliciously seasoned to the point that we had to take the menu one more time. In addition, excellent local wine and, last but not least, the wonderful, kind and smiling lady who served us, moreover, speaks fluent English. We recommend that everyone combine a visit to Nazaré with this restaurant. Let's thank this company.

We had a really nice dinner here, really tasty food. I had the confit duck and my friend had the octopus, both very nice. House wine also great. Friendly staff. Would go again.

Excellent meal here at Tosca! It was a recommendation from a guide book I no longer remember and it lived up to the expectations. The flambé prawns, patatas bravas and steak are a must. Get extra bread to mop up all the goodness

Absolutely delighted with our experience at this charming little gem! The restaurant's cozy and beautifully decorated space created the perfect ambiance. Clean, warm, and welcoming. The staff also added to the experience with their friendliness and attentive service.

The mushroom risotto was rich and flavorful, a true comfort dish. The octopus (“pulpo a la
plancha”) with sautéed vegetables was cooked to perfection a delightful blend of textures and tastes. The shrimp pasta? Delicious! There is culinary skill present in this kitchen.

Highly recommend this restaurant for anyone looking for a delightful experience with great food and a warm atmosphere. Don’t forget to try the deserts - we had strawberry merengue and lemon curd. A well-deserved 5 stars!"

We had an amazing dinner at Tosca. I reserved a table for 2 just 3 hours prior to our requested dinner time on a Saturday night. We ended up getting several small plates and they were all very good. We ordered the sangria de espumante (it was peach flavoured), pate and bread basket as starters. Then we got the bolinhas de queijo de cabra (with pumpkin jam), arroz adamastor, tartaro de atum (tuna tartare) and batatas bravas. We also ordered some baos but they did not have them. Everything was super delicious and great value for what you pay. We also ordered a creme brulee which was OK. If we ever go back to Nazare, it will be to visit Tosca again!

I had a wonderful lunch today at Tosca. The service was very good…Marta was able to answer our questions about the menu and to all of our delight…the food was supremely delicious! We shared a bottle of wine and a bottle of water at the table, Marta was gracious enough to split it up on our respective checks. I strongly suggest eating here.

What a terrific spot for lunch or dinner. A little tucked back and away from the tourism but authentic and great attention to food quality. Good selection of wine and definitely reasonably priced for the atmosphere.

I had a wonderful fresh grilled tuna with vegetables and also tried the grilled Octopus, just the best. Presentation is beautiful as well. Rustic bread with flavored butters were irresistible!

We decided to have lunch here and went with 4 starters to share with the 2 of us. They really put effort in making good tasteful food, that is also great for the eyes. Real gem! And in the centre of Nazaré. Would definitely visit again!

Delicious food and atmosphere. We went for the tapas and we especially loved the tuna tartar, martini prawns, batatas bravos and last but not least the rice dish. Nice wine card. Strongly recommend this place. Reservation recommended. We didn't, but went in time. Behind us several couples had to be disappointed and come back some other time. Thank you for the nice evening !
