The Sun Hill

We stayed here last summer and our stay was amazing thanks to the hospitality of Renato and Rosanna! The accomodation is fantastic, our room and bathroom were spacious and clean, the swimming pool is very nice (and heated). Every morning, Renato prepared breakfast with fresh and local ingredients. On our trip, our car battery died, and Renato did everything he could to get it back working again, he even drove us to Lagos to the rental company to help us out. What amazing hosts! We only wished we had stayed longer, but we will definitely come back!

Renato and Rosanna are the perfect hosts, they were warm and helpful. The homemade breakfast was healthy and extended, rooms are clean and spacious. In case you want to enjoy from a glas of wine you can chose one from Renato's wine cellar for a correct price. Location is really convenient to explore the region.

We stayed at the Sun Hill for 3 nights and it was the best choice we could have made. Renato and Rosanna were truly great hosts, very lovely and passionate. Whilst our stay was short, we felt like at home from the first moment. The Sun Hill offers a beautiful retreat, quiet and idyllic (yet it's only around 10min by car and you are in the center of Lagos). The owners take great care of the garden with all its plants and flowers. The beautiful pool offered us a perfect refreshment in the Portuguese summer heat. Rooms are very spacious and and we found them in great condition. The overall level of cleanliness was superb, you can tell the owners' high attention to detail. The breakfast was outstanding and one of the highlights. Delicious with a daily varying combination of delights (inc. yoghurt, sweet and savoury dishes all prepared with fresh, local or even homegrown ingredients - you could taste it!) personally prepared by Renato and Rossana. We haven't experienced such dedication at any other of our trips. You'll have a hard time finding a place in Algarve where you will get a warmer welcome, where the owner takes as much care to make your trip as relaxing and enjoyable as possible and where you feel a little bit part of the family :)

You will need a car, but this is the same for all the erea. Its a litle outside town(10min) but super central.
The hostes make you truly feel like part of the family, and with only two rooms this is realy nice.

Really nice play where you can really enjoy your holiday and stay. The homeowner is really warm and it feels like you are at home! Breakfast awesome!

Amaizing place, very calm and cozy! We love this place! Only 15 min to city center, but the stay here is wonderful!!!

Siamo stati in questa struttura per 3 giorni a luglio. Il posto è fantastico! Relax totale. Stanze ampie, perfettamente pulite, arredate con cura. Giardino e piscina bellissimi. Il plus è la gentilezza dei proprietari, una coppia di italiani, che gestiscono questo posto con amore e passione. Ottima la colazione a bordo piscina preparata personalmente da Renato. Indispensabile l'auto perché si trova fuori dal centro e dalle spiagge (parcheggio interno con cancello elettrico), il tutto raggiungibile appunto comodamente in auto in 5/10 minuti. Presente anche una bella cantina dove poter assaggiare vari vini locali. L'unico consiglio che mi sento è di dare è quello magari di fare una convenzione con dei take away, in modo da poter ordinare una cena anche senza spostarsi. Ma è veramente tutto perfetto, anzi, la cosa negativa è che non ci sposterebbe mai!! Consiglio infatti di prendersi un giorno in più per godersi a pieno una giornata intera di relax. Abbiamo già nostalgia.

Superschöne kleine Anlage mit viel Liebe vom Eigentümer und seiner Frau geführt. Tolle Lage, zügige Verbindung nach Lagos. Toller Pool und sehr schöne Zimmer. Das Frühstück ist ein Traum und wird vom Eigentümer und seiner Frau selbst zubereitet und serviert. Wir hatten sehr schöne Urlaubstage, sehr gerne wieder ! Alora! 😀

Wunderschönes Hotel mit malerischer Aussicht, das Frühstück wird individuell vorbereitet und serviert. Sehr herzliche Gastgeber und alles bis ins letzte Detail durchdacht. Wie hatten ein Zimmer auf der obersten Etage mit geräumigen Balkon und toller Aussicht. Lieben Dank an Renato und Rosanna für den tollen Aufenthalt. Wir haben die Zeit bei euch sehr genossen.

Man muss sich bei Renato und Rosanna einfach wohlfühlen. Jeden Morgen frisch zubereitetes Frühstück in einer wunderschönen Anlage. Sehr sauber und perfekt für einen Urlaub zu zweit.

El lugar está muy bien cuidado y con estilo. Además son sólo 5 habitaciones, dándole una gran tranquilidad.
El desayuno lo ponen cada día diferente y es una pasada, todo natural y hecho por Renato y Rosana.
Además, nos recomendaron muy bien los diferentes lugares a ir. Yo soy ciclista de carretera y me recomendó las mejores rutas sin tráfico.
Repetiremos sin duda.

Fin dalla prenotazione i due proprietari si sono rivelati molto disponibili. All’arrivo ci hanno accolto benissimo, dandoci tutte le informazioni utili.
L’alloggio è ad una decina di minuti dal centro di Lagos ma il trattamento vale la distanza. Colazione fatta in casa e camera pulita e ben curata.

Cette maison d'hôtes est une pure merveille ! Rosanna et Renato sont adorables et aux petits soins avec tous leurs hôtes. La chambre et sa salle de bains attenante étaient très grandes et confortables. Mention spéciale pour les petits-dejeuners extrêmement généreux et gourmands. Un véritable havre de paix sur les hauteurs de Lagos.

Renato und Rosanna bieten einen tollen herzlichen Rundum-Service an! Man fühlt sich so wohl wie Zuhause! Die Anlage befindet sich in einer ruhigen Lage mit toller Aussicht und einem Pool! Mit dem Auto ist man in 10 Minuten in der Stadt. Das Frühstück wird speziell und einzigartig mit frischen, gesunden und zum teil hausgemachten Zutaten selbst vorbereitet.
Das Zimmer und die Ausstattung sind modern und werden täglich sauber gehalten.

Wir haben uns sehr gut entspannt! Thanks Renato&Rosanna! We will come back for sure!

Bellisima struttura a conduzione familiare (un massimo di 6 camere, in questo momento 4) a circa 10 min di macchina da Lagos. I propietari Renato e Rosanna sono meravigliosi, sempre presenti e premurosi. La piscina riscaldata offre una perfetta alternativa all'acqua ghiacciata dell'Algarve! Meravigliosa la colazione preparata (in abbondanza) da Renato sul momento. Bravissimi!

➕ Cercavo un posto tranquillo dove passare 3 notti ed avere ogni confort possibile . Ho trovato degli amici .

Perché parliamoci chiaro, Renato e Rosanna non sono i proprietari del B&B , sono proprio persone che amano accogliere ospiti nella loro casa.
Certo si fanno pagare( il giusto) e visti i prezzi in giro per Lagos , posso dire soldi ben spesi !

Iniziamo col dire che già dal Italia c’è stato uno scambio di mail sempre preciso e puntuale .

Poi sono sempre presenti nella casa per ogni evenienza ed informazione.

La casa è totalmente nuova con belle e ampie camere , bagni e set di cortesia . Lenzuola e asciugamani profumati . Ombrellone e asciugamani per il mare . Acqua gratis. Parcheggio coperto e custodito .

Ci sono solo 3 camere .

C’è una bella piscina con acqua salata e riscaldata .
Wi-Fi gratuito ovunque.

Colazione e che te lo dico affare.... dolce e salato tutto fresco e ogni giorno differente .

Renato ha pure organizzato una cena serale , a nostra richiesta , con pesce fresco a prezzo irrisorio ... come stare in famiglia .

In più c’è silenzio e si dorme in modo divino .

Unico inconveniente è che ci vuole un auto per salire sulla collina , ma ne vale la pena e poi in 10 minuti si è ovunque, infatti io l’ho scelto anche per questo.
Manca la tv in stanza , fatevene una ragione, per noi che volevamo staccare la spina non ci è pesato e se proprio avete nostalgia portatevi un pc o scendete giù e guardatela con Renato nella sala comune !

Se torno in Algarve , sarà il mio punto di riferimento, sicuramente.

Renato y Rosanna hacen que la estancia sea inmejorable. Y el desayuno es de 10. Y las habitaciones impecables. No falta ningun detalle. Volveriamos sin pensarlo!
