Fantastic place to get a drink in the sunshine in Porto. Huge grassy area with small tables dotted around.

Seats and bigger tables near the bar too.

Drinks priced really well, good range of cocktails, speedy service what's not to love.

Great bar highly recommended.

Such a beautiful idea to make a bar where you can sit on the grass next to the small table and drink and talk with friends under the small tree... Nice place, great coctails, friendly people with smiling faces... Recommend!!!
One tip - toilets are below the park in the garage entrance.

Come and grab a drink at this outside place. Very chill with great music. Nearby the library and surrounded with green trees. Absolutely loved it!

Amazing and chill bar in the city centre of Porto! We came here for a Porto Tonic and thanks to its wonderful location, with grass and olives trees we really recharged our batteries!

Only serve drinks and can get busy but has many tables, sectionals and grassy spots with small tables. Decent drink selection with a QR code to the menu/music/social media info.

Amazing atmosphere for pre-dinner drinks and catching the sunset! Good music and drinks, the white sangria is so yummy. We came here multiple times during our time in Porto and it never disappoints! View of Clerigos Tower is also gorgeous.

If you are in Porto, this is a must during summer. The place itself and the staff only have positive vibes to share, and the white sangria is perfect (with ginger and mint - one of my favourites).
Also, you wanna make sure you're not hungry while visiting this place. They don't have food or snacks.

Nice relaxed place to have a drink in a garden. Decent prices and no queue. There doesn't seem to a toilet here though.

Really nice space with great views and a nice vibe especially when the sun is out. Plenty of choices for drinks at reasonable prices great service and friendly staff. Well worth a visit to chill and chat. Just round the corner from the book shop.

We were amazed when we found such a cozy and nice place in such a crowded and noisy town. Not the best cappuccino in town however, under the Olive tree, on the grass we enjoyed it.

Nice time, good drinks, good Vibe. View is also really pretty.. music can be a tiny bit too loud, especially if you’re sitting close to the bar. Would definitely recommend! We went there 3 days in a row and spend the whole afternoon. Price for 1 drink is pretty cheap.

In a city with a cool bar on every street, Base is the coolest. There can surely be no greater pleasure in life than sipping a cold Super Bock grande (sounds like "grungy") in the afternoon sun, watching the beautiful people go by and tapping your toes to the world's chillest chill-out in a little oasis of calm in the middle of a Cidade Invicta.

Greta bartenders and the location is 1000% absolutely awesome. Such a unique experience to be able to sit on an elevated lawn and have great drinks looking (somewhat) over the city of Porto. I can’t believe I hadn’t heard of this before and we stumbled upon it, highly recommended.

Wonderful spot to meet friends, have drinks or in our case kill time while waiting to head to airport. This is our second time to Base since arriving in Porto. It’s very inviting, comfortable and welcoming. You can grab some awesome pictures from here as well. Put Base on your list of places to visit while in Porto. Easy walking distance to catch hop on off buses, tram or wait till your time to visit the clock tower. Don’t miss this trendy spot.

We lounged under the shade of an ancient olive 🫒 tree, propped up by brown potato sack pads in the trendy yet touristy BASE cocktail garden drinking our Porto Tonico 6€ and Aperol Spritz 7€.

There are small tables scattered around the large expanse of green grass and then there are proper tables and stools on the cement area by the two bars.

You can pay with credit card for your drinks and choose your spot, although on a nice day like this, they may be difficult to find your preferred spot. Everyone was looking for shade besides a select few who enjoyed a sunbathe.

BASE is a good gathering place for friends, a few families, and even a black dog 🐾 was playing catch among the patrons. You can also bring your own food in for a picnic.

The one downside that everyone complains about is that there are no toilets 🚽. Even a porta potty would be nice! We did manage to find a public toilet 3 minutes walk in the park across the street but it costs 20 cents and you can only use 5 and 10 cent coins, of which we had none. Don’t try to put a 50 cent because it will spit 😝it back at you in disgust.

The clock tower played music for quite some time at 4 PM.

There is a QR code for the menu, but it is also posted on top of the bar.

We really enjoyed this open air bar , it was nice to have a super bock out in the sun. Great vibes, Highly recommend
