Europcar HORTA AIRPORT

Kept us waiting for hours due to slow service whilst we had our reservations already made and input provided back home. Unkind staff. Five minutes before online agreed rental time the rental desk refused to help even when paper work takes them approximately 30 minutes per client (so agreed rental hour would already be reached at the time we would be served). At the same time helping people that claim priority needs (but disregard other people that also need priority but less visibly needs or conducting more discrete). After all this we were delivered a bad quality car. Old and damaged car hardly able to climb the mountains on the island. Do most certainly not recommend!! Even one star is too much for this car rental company

The rental of Europcar is subcontracted to Ilha Verde. The terms of the contract with Europcar aren't respected by Ilha Verde without any explanations. We have to pay more than expected, this is just unaceptable.
