Great place! Welcome very pleasant. Breakfast with local, natural and homemade products. Garden to the tunnel and the sea very beautiful. Staff very nice and welcoming.

we stayed at quinta das buganvillas from 5 to 10 may 2023 and we loved it. Excellent service, comfortable rooms and beds, beautiful well-groomed territory. homemade breakfasts with homemade yogurt and jam. If we are back on Faial Island, we will stay in Quinta again for sure!

Very cozy place. With a nice garden to explore. The airplanes are not that loud and you can watch some landing and starting which is nice.
Service is also fantastic.
Feels like paradise here.
The highlight is the garden where you can go through a tunnel beneath a airplane ramp to the sea (great place for snorkeling when the sea is calm)

Fantastic little hotel! Really cosy and cute. It has a vintage flair and a very beautiful garden wich you can explore. There is also a Tunnel wich leads to the ocean (take a flashlight with you). We also really enjoyed the breakfast with freshly squeezed orange juice!

Even two years after our stay we remember this beautiful place very well and with great emotion. Ana's smile, delicious breakfasts, the magnificent garden, proximity to nature and the emblematic places of Faial Island. This is the place for you if you want to live the true experience of the Azores. Highly recommended by a travel specialist.

A peaceful place, a mind-blowing garden full of birds, extremely friendly & hospitable service, cosy rooms, breakfast with wonderful homemade cake & jams, local cheeses etc. Next time, we will stay for longer to fully enjoy this little paradise. Thank you so very much.

Eine ganz zauberhafte Unterkunft. Wir wurden vom freundlichen Hofhund empfangen, haben uns ab der ersten Minute wohl gefühlt und auch mit den anderen Gästen herrschte ein beinahe familiäres Miteinander.
Die beiden Gästehäuser liegen in einem riesigen, verwunschenen Garten. Die Zimmer waren individuell, mit viel Liebe zum Detail eingerichtet. Das Grundstück verfügt über einen privaten Tunnel (unter der Landebahn des Flughafens durch) zum Meer.
Wir haben uns schon abends auf das Frühstück am nächsten morgen gefreut. Es gab Eier von den eigenen Hühnern, regionale Käse, frisches Brot, Obst und Gemüse aus dem Garten. Von der kleinen Terrasse aus konnten wir Delfine und Flugzeuge beobachten. Die Nähe zum Flughafen war für uns optimal und nicht störend.

Wir haben uns vom ersten Moment an wohl gefühlt. Die Unterkunft hat nur wenige Zimmer, die sich auf zwei Häuser verteilen. Bei der sehr netten Begrüßung wurden uns viele Informationen über die Unterkunft und die Insel sowie Tipps für Restaurantbesuche gegeben. Das riesige Grundstück endet zwar an der Start- und Landebahn des Flughafens; dies hat aber wegen des geringen Flugverkehrs nur wenig gestört und wurde durch die ansonsten sehr gute Lage ausgeglichen. Von der Unterkunft aus ist die gesamte Insel mit dem Mietwagen gut zu erreichen. Spannend war der Ausflug durch den Tunnel unter der Start-/Landebahn. Zum Frühstück gab es jeden Tag Eier aus dem eigenen Garten!

Sehr idyllische und verwunschene Anlage, schnuckeliges Zimmer mit Blick aufs Meer, kleines aber feines Frühstück, sehr nette Leute. Die perfekte Unterkunft für ein paar herrliche Tage auf Faial.

Wunderschönes, kleines Hotel in einem ehemaligen, alten Bauernhof. Riesiges Gartengelände mit ökologischem Gartenbau. Die Lage direkt am Flughafen stört gar nicht, im Gegenteil, schafft interessante Momente. Sehr freundlicher Service und sehr angenehme Gastgeberin. Leider nur Frühstück und kein Abendessen.

Atendimento de excelência, o pequeno almoço caseiro e bem servido, os quartos muito limpos a quinta é um espectáculo. Não tenho palavras para agradecer à Ana Oliveira e toda a sua equipa pelo acolhimento e serviço de excelência.

ein traumhaftes anwesen, mit riesigem u vielfältigem garten. zimmer mit viel charme und sauber. reception und frühstücks-gebäude zentral und im stil einer alten mühle gestaltet. der blick zum meer wird nur die die start-/landebahn der flughafens unterbrochen. aber keine angst, hier fliegt nicht viel, man spürt fast nichts vom flughafen. wir kennen die anderen zimmer/appartments nicht, aber auch sie sind sicher mit gefühl und liebe eingerichtet.
